The next day, Hana had barely stepped off the bus when a group of girls from her high school approached her.
She had only had to take two steps out of her transportation, and already it looked like it was going to be an eventful day.
"Takeuchi Hana, we need to talk to you," said one of the girls.
It sounded more like an order than a proposal, and Hana wondered what these girls wanted from her. Without her even having time to answer them, another girl took her by the arm, and the group escorted her to a small street nearby.
"What do you think you're doing?" Asked a girl with a purple barrette.
Hana wasn't sure what she meant by that. What did they think she was doing?
"You think we didn't understand what you were doing?" Added another girl with short cut hair. "No boys would normally be interested in you, so you're pretending to be a quiet girl on purpose to attract them?"
