As soon as the Nightmare reached their position, the battle took a turn.
It was fast. Much faster than any of its portal-buffed allies. That was the first thing Kaori noticed about it. The next was how effortlessly the Nightmare began to tear through Amber's forces. She tried to stop it, of course, using Living Sacrifice to save the lives of a few different warriors, but the Nightmare was just too quick for her to keep up with it.
