Once Kaori got her bearings, and made sure that none of her things had been taken, she followed Bin into a side room where the two were able to speak privately. Apparently, he was the owner of this place. Not just that, but he'd also met Ash before.
"Really?" Kaori had asked when Bin told her that fact.
"Yep," he noted as he slid a chair back behind a desk and kicked his feet up onto it. "A half-demon Savior came around a while ago. We didn't get to talk too much but she was a treat. Real sweetheart, you know?"
The sarcasm in his voice let Kaori know that Ash had probably not made the best impression on him.
"But, I'll be honest," he continued, "I really thought I wouldn't ever see another Savior again. So, the fact that you're in here with me, sitting just across from my desk with that fancy cube in your bag, is confusing as all hell. So," he tilted his head, "what exactly had you falling all the way down here like that?"
