Kaori
The next morning, Kaori decided to make her last few preparations before she went back to Jade. She figured that the same caravan that took her to Onyx would be waiting for her, as the soldiers would have to return to the city as well, though their numbers had been shaved off a little. Before that, however, something came to her mind that took up her focus.
It happened as Athela made some breakfast for the two of them. The artist wasn't just good with a pencil, her cooking turned out to be fantastic as well. They sat across from each other at Athela's living room table, sharing some strange meal she called "crepes", when Kaori suddenly thought to herself:
I should go see my family.
