Kaori
The rest of the night went by fairly smoothly. Kaori knew this not just because no demons attacked, but because she remained awake for all of it. She wanted to make sure she didn't get caught by surprise, and in her mind, that meant that she had to stay up.
Fortunately, however, nothing negative happened that night. By the time dawn had arrived the next day, the caravan resumed its movement. Kaori continued what she'd been doing with the travelers, letting some of the older and exceptionally younger people take her seat on the way.
"We should be arriving by tomorrow evening," a soldier let her know.
"Good," Kaori replied. "Ehm, is there anyone checking the road ahead?" She asked.
"Do you want someone to?" The soldier asked.
