This time, it was Kaori's turn to see Ash off, as she headed out on her own "mission". Seeing the half-demon in her Savior Armor again made quite a few emotions stir within Kaori. On one hand, she felt proud that her girlfriend had become such a shining example of a hero, even if she'd disagree with the title being placed on her. On the other hand, Kaori wished she could shine just as brilliantly, or at least enough to where she could stand next to her without feeling the shame that she did.
That pride won out for now, though, and she smiled warmly at the half-demon as she stood outside the Savior House, letting a coachman know she was nearly ready to leave. Beside Kaori, Keiko stood with her, giving off a similar smile, though her eyes moved to Kaori a few times.
