During the retaking of Pearl
Being an archer in a fight like this had its positive and negative aspects.
For one, Ichigo was certain she was in far less danger than anyone else here. Currently, she was positioned atop an abandoned cart. With the demons fighting ahead and the only real threats to her coming in the way of those Lust demons who would occasionally fly toward her, she was relatively comfortable. One of the bad parts, though, was that Ichigo had a perfect view of the horrific fates many of the soldiers around her were currently meeting.
Every ripped neck, every torn gut, every swallowed warrior was right in front of her, all laid out for her to see. The battle of Sapphire, however, had prepared her for such sights. Because of that, her hands didn't waver as she focused on launching out as many arrows as she could.
