Devi blinked non stop till she saw the reality. "Huh?" A bright smile appeared on her face as if the scary experience didn't even happen. "I want to learn magic too!" The girl with purple hair smirked at her. "A dumb girl like you wants to learn magic? You're better off reading some fairy tale picture book."
Devi pouted and hugged the book tightly against her body. "Hahaha! You even have one." The girl mocked her. Celaine hid behind Devi. The girl with purple hair's laugh was scary. Sounded like a psycho. "Don't-" Devi was cut off. "Give me that." Her book was easily snatched from her hands.
"That's mine!" Devi jumped up to try to get it back but the other girl's arms were longer, so Devi couldn't reach. Actually, that girl was taller than her. "This is the first price if you want the great me to teach you." She made a 360° and her hair slapped Devi's face. "Come in loser." Devi walked in reluctantly. She really wanted to read that book. She felt like she had to but she also wanted to know more about magic…
When it was Celaine's turn to walk in the room, the door was closed right in her face. The force of the closing door knocked her on the ground and made her nose go red. She stayed on the ground and stared at the door with a wronged look on her face. Her red eyes and nose made her look like a small bunny. Celaine moved to sit with her back against the door and pouted.
Inside the room, the girl with purple hair sat on a chair that was near a desk. Devi looked around the room with awe. The room was spacious and it looked like there were two rooms combined in one. It really looked like there was once a wall in the middle but someone tore it down.
There were two beds at each end of the wall. Each bed was accompanied by a desk and a chair. There was one table that was beside one of the beds while the other table was far away from the bed. The girl was sitting on the one which was the farthest. One side seemed to have more accessories than the other. The other looked... poor. Devi thought that no one was on the poor side and the other side, it was the girl's bed. But why would the poor side have a uniform if no one was there? The room has a mirror and two dressers. One dresser is full of clothes while the other... with one uniform. That side of the room had a depressing aura.
Devi tiptoed to the girl's side and whispered near her ear. "Who sleeps on the other bed?" The girl closed the Flawless book she started reading loudly and slowly turned her head. "You're so stupid that you can't even recognize your own bed? Forget about magic, you should first learn what's your name and how to write it. Your name is Devi. D-e-v-i which means stupid useless shit." She drew a disgusted look at Devi and finished with. "Go sleep like a baby and don't bother me. Or I'll make you sleep like a corpse."
"U-uh…" Devi was confused and also hurt. That was her book. She wanted to be the first to read it. Devi looked at the girl's face and hair. She felt like she somehow knew her but couldn't remember from where though. This feeling was like the one when she saw her boyfriend. "Are you related to…" Devi already forgot the name of her boyfriend. She blushed with embarrassment. "...to my boyfriend?"
"You!" The girl got up and a slap was heard. The chair fell loudly on the ground followed by another "thump". Devi's cheek was reddish. It stung and felt hot. "You are a little hurt and saw your mother and now you act like you own everything? Look in the mirror. You are a worthless piece of trash who only knows to run to your mommy. The only good thing about you is that your looks are a little above average. How many brain cells do you have? Wait, are you really her child? Causeee I don't know who in your family is as stupid as you. You are probably adopted ha!"
"Everyone thinks you are my best friend and of course you are. AS LONG AS YOU LISTEN TO ME. If you tell you to jump, then you jump. If you tell you to break your finger, you break it. You are so dumb that I have to slap you once in a while to make your brain cells come back to life. Are you really stupid or a masochist?" She kicked Devi in the stomach. "You must love it right? Then beg for more." Devi coughed out all the air that she had and she held her stomach.
The purple haired girl took the book she snatched from Devi. "Look at me." Devi's body was shaking and she slowly looked up at the girl's face. She saw a smile. It looked like the girl was really enjoying it. Enjoying seeing her suffer. "If I ever hear you say my brother is your boyfriend or you even mention his name in front of me, this will be you." With those words, the book took fire.
Devi's eyes suddenly landed on the flames that were eating the book she so wanted to read. Horror filled her face and her pupils narrowed. Only the flames were reflecting in her eyes. Her body was scared of this girl while she herself wanted to get away from the fire. She slowly turned her head away and said in a weak voice: "N-no…"
The girl was pissed. She grabbed Devi's hair and put the burning book in her face. Devi flinched and screamed. The fire was too close to her face. It was hot, familiar and scary. Bexley's sister's smile grew. She found another weakness. Now the book was ashes and only the fire was left. "I never knew you were so scared of fire. Call me master Guinevere or you will-" Before she could finish talking, Devi fainted.
Guinevere's smile disappeared at the same time as the fire in her hand. Devi was somehow still in a sitting position because her hair was pulled. "Disrespectful bitch." She let go of Devi's hair and kicked her towards the other side of the room. "You'll pay for it tomorrow if you don't wake up in time."
Meanwhile Celaine was at the same place, in front of the room's door Devi entered. Her hair was messy and she was swinging from side to side. She kept mumbling "I will die, I will die, I will die…"
