"NingNing-ah, Will you marry me?"
Gu YuChen saw Su Ning's eyes fill with tears and for a moment, his heart stopped. He was 200% sure with his entire being that he wanted to marry her but he didn't know what it was like on her end. Did she think it was too soon? He was worried.
It wasn't until he saw Su Ning nod her head that he let out the breath he had been holding.
"Yes." Su Ning said softly. "I will."
Gu YuChen's heart melted at her gentle voice and her kind smile. All his worries faded away in that instant as he gingerly placed the ring onto her left ring finger.
It was a perfect fit.
Thank God they were tears of joy.
The man stood up and pulled the girl into his arms in a warm embrace. Then he gently, as if holding a treasure, brought Su Ning's face up and softly placed a kiss upon her lips.
"NingNing-ah, I love you." Gu YuChen whispered to her and Su Ning smiled in response.
