During this time, she leaned on Gu YuChen and her 'fan' for support. Though the fan appeared suspicious in the beginning, the person only seemed to speak the truth to all of Su Ning's questions. The fan also provided her with photographs as proof of Lin JinYan's actions. Through their conversations, Su Ning was able to find out that her fan had known Lin JinYan since childhood. The person knew of his mysophobia and was also privy to Lin JinYan's obsessive behavior which began when he met Su Ning. Out of concern for her, the fan urged Su Ning to remain firm in keeping her distance from Lin JinYan.
