Minshi dislikes Su Ning.
In the beginning, she actually had a favorable impression of the young girl. She thought Su Ning, who spoke bad English, was a nice, unassuming girl who was unaware of her own charm. So Minshi took it upon herself to bring Su Ning under her wing. She watched out for any creeps approaching the excessively beautiful girl and generously helped Su Ning improve her English speaking skills.
