"JinYan-ge? JinYan-ge?" Su Ning called out in a slightly worried voice. The young man had been strangely silent for several minutes. And she wasn't able to see his expression as he had kept his head bowed the entire time. 'Is he alright? Why is he not speaking?' Su Ning wondered.
Just as Su Ning was about to call out once more, she felt a slight squeeze on her hands. She saw his shiny, soft brown hair move as Lin JinYan lifted up his face. Then he raised their intertwined hands up and pressed the back of Su Ning's hand against his cheek. "Thank you, NingNing," Lin JinYan whispered. His eyes looked at peace.
"Huh? For what?" Su Ning asked confusedly. 'Why did Lin JinYan suddenly change his attitude, wasn't he just feeling depressed earlier?'
"For believing in me," Lin JinYan answered, sporting a winsome smile.
