'It's really dark in here,' thought Su Ning during the bumpy trunk ride to Lin JinYan's location. Because Assistant Mu had been so secretive about Lin JinYan's current situation, Su Ning's overactive imagination went into overdrive. Furthermore, there was nothing in the media that gave any indication of any troubles in the company. 'Was Lin JinYan's life in danger? Why is he hiding? Is there in-fighting in the family like in the Korean dramas?!' Su Ning wondered while chewing at her lip.
After a 20 minute car ride, Su Ning began to feel the car slowing down before finally rolling to a stop. A few seconds later, there was a soft click and light filtered into the darkened space. Su Ning squinted at the sudden flash of light and noticed a dark silhouette in front of her.
"Ms Su, apologies for the bumpy ride. We had to make a couple of false turns to lose some people. Here, please take my hand," Assistant Mu said with a contrite look on his face.
