A thousand years ago, humans and monsters never coexisted. Frequent war happens as death toll on both sides compete every year. Each fortresses are extremely protective of their nations and whoever bypasses is burned alive. It never stopped until the year of King Amon II who made drastic changes to the rules of human lair. He opened the unreachable gates of the Empire and decided to marry her daughter to the heir of the otherworld as a peace treaty.
The Grand Pope protested and judged him of defiance and treason thus putting him to absolute damnation. However, King Amon II won the trust of his servants and the people that the Holy Sanctuary was oust and was stripped of authority. The hundred years war ended and people and monsters began to live together.
For a year, they made bountiful and peaceful relations towards each other's differences. But a great famine befall on the land and the resources became scarce, making the people and monsters weak on their established principles to not hurt each other. However, the famine last longer than expected and this triggered other monsters and even humans to violate the law. And so peace was destroyed and war broke out.
In this period, geniuses appeared and the war was pacified. They invented variety of equipments and strategies to recover the critical conditions of the Empire. And most of which became effective so peace was once again restored. More philosophers came and studied the unveiled phenomenon. And the more they become, Debates in the court became an everyday event and piles of doctrines lined up.
A year after, they have theorized and proved that the great famine will happen again. Hence, they invented a currency in the form of a round golden plate just about the size of a thumb to serve as an equivalent exchange for material, food, and services. And they called it the money or sequel. Calling it after the name of King Sequel. The sequel became a treasure of one's own and it became the means of the many as years passed.
In the present, capitalism became the general ideology in the society. And sequel made everyone's world go round. But this made them more connected to each other resolving to be called as VIKANS which means generation of sequel. Though others remain in faith, ethnicity, and philosophy that it divided the world into four regions, namely: VIKANS, KINGS, SOPHIA, and CLANS. But wherever which you may be, sequel strongly influences, especially in VIKANS where love, dignity, and honor can be bought. Will there be a hope for genuity?
