Chapter 352 - Mitus. (4)

As the group of four unlucky warriors was surrounded by Luke, Nolan, and Quinn, a massive explosion erupted from the back of the convoy. It looks like Tania can unleash a powerful blow on the two warriors that were protecting the back of the convoy.

This explosion is not at the level of a gray core mage, Tania must have had enough time to release a wave of flames that completely overpowered the back of the carriage. The flames are very close to the rear chariot but there is still a meter to hit the slaves, but even if the flames won't hit you, it shouldn't be pleasant to be near those red flames.

Seeing the spectacle in the back, one of the four warriors dropped his ax to the ground and raised both hands upwards, showing that the fight was over on that side.

I'm not too surprised by this as this group of warriors is in a very bad situation, with one of them crushed under two fairly large rocks and the two mages that helped them are dead now and to top it off they are surrounded by two strong warriors who have the protection of a mage who can attack them easily and an annoying archer.

After realizing the situation, they are in the other three still armed warriors gave up completely, with the four unarmed warriors the earth beneath them began to move. The weapons on the ground went away as they dropped to their knees on the ground and were buried in the ground until their knees were fully trapped by hardened earth.

Not that it could hold them completely, but it's enough to stop them moving. It didn't take long for Abel to tie them against one of the carriages, ending the fight on that side.

After that the three went to the front where Ana was leading the fight against Mitus. Their fight was very interesting to watch from my side view as there was no reason for me to interfere in the combat that was taking place between the six warriors since the fire element mage who was in the first wagon was killed with Ana's third blow.

When Ana advanced to fight Mitus accompanied by Luke and Carmilla she only bumped into Mitus who was fully prepared to fight, a warrior of his level wouldn't be taken by surprise because he had too much time to get up or affected by the explosive force of the runic arrays. who only managed to seriously injure their tier two horse.

During Ana's second move she connected a heavy shield strike against Mitus' flaming hammer with a knife throw. This knife contained a large amount of aura and energy from the wind element, it was like a green ray that destroyed the entire torso of the fire mage that was on the roof of the first wagon of the convoy.

A blow like this executed so naturally can only be achieved by someone who is completely confident they can overpower their opponent, a completely enraged Mitus released a red aura from her body when generating his hammer.

This red aura must be the flaming aura art which is one of Mitus' signature moves, his aura is fused with his fire element causing him to release an enormous amount of heat that can melt level three weapons and equipment.

In the detailed information that is available about Mitus it states that this art is an incomplete form of the true fusion between aura and elemental energy that only high-level warriors or blue core geniuses can achieve with great difficulty. It is easy to detect the failure of this art because Mitus' fire aura can only release heat and no longer a property or form of the fire element that Mitus must have mastered.

Even his aura can only stay in semi-solid form and cannot reach fully solid form without being separated from the elemental energy that is modifying it.

But that doesn't mean that this is a weak and flawed art, the consumption of his aura and elemental energy is not increased in this state while the strength and heat that this combination can cause is higher than normal for him. Unfortunately, he's facing a defensive warrior who has a skill far above normal for her level in her use and control of the earth and wind elements.

Mitus' unnatural heat is unable to penetrate deep into Ana's gear, Ana's layer of extremely tough dark stones is reflecting a good part of the heat emitted by Mitus and the rest are barely able to warm Ana's armor.

Ana overpowered Mitus primarily using her shield as a defense to block all of his blows, but Ana's sword attacks were blocked by a large amount of aura which dampened Ana's blow allowing him to use the handle of his two-handed hammer. to block the impact of Ana's sword.

But that didn't stop her from kicking him when he had an opening, Ana completely overpowered Mitus pushing him away from the wagon and his companions. Ana even began to use her elemental energy to sink the two of them into the ground creating a trap arena, when Mitus tried to jump out of the trap the land where he would lean to quickly climb was undone when he was hit by a direct blow from Ana.

The much more exciting fight at the front was Carmilla against the shadow element warrior who wielded a spear, unlike Ana who dominated her opponent Carmilla had a hard time keeping a level fight with the spearman.

When they both used fast punches, Carmilla had a disadvantage in strength during exchanges, but she had an advantage in elemental shifting. I don't know if it's luck or bad luck but the two have a very similar style of combat, both are using their elemental anergy as a whip to harass their opponent using their aura and focused on their weapon.

Two water whips faced off against a black whip that was violent and relentless, it was clear that the shadow whip made her stronger than Carmilla's water whips, but when she added a little wind element to them to improve the flexibility of her strikes which improved the synchronization between Carmilla's two whips making her gain the upper hand in this form of combat.

This combination between the two made them both completely focused on their fight and forgetting what is happening around them, this type of style demands a lot of focus and concentration especially when sweating against a complicated enemy. I didn't interfere in this match because I didn't think it was necessary as Carmilla seemed very confident in her abilities and my assistance would be needed elsewhere.

She used two to three hits for each thrust of the spear, both the spearman and Carmilla didn't use any other form of combat even though they probably know they were determined to defeat their enemy by winning this skill duel. Two complete idiots, but it still ended well as they both kept themselves busy while Ana overpowered Mitus and Luke killed the shield warrior who was fighting him.

Luke had no difficulty killing his opponent who was weaker than him in every possible way, on Luke's fourth heavy blow he cut off the defensive warrior's left arm and leg after he lost his shield on Luke's third strike.

He decided not to take the lead and run to the nearest battlefield, but unfortunately by the time he got there, the combat was over, Luke was unable to find Nolan, Tania, or The End.

At the end of the match Luke took a turn in the convoy only to find no opportunity to fight again, his race ended when almost all the rest of the team had arrived in front of the first wagon of the convoy. The only one left behind was Fim tending to the slaves who were terrified by all the explosions and earth that hit their open wagon.

I didn't come down from the tree even though most of the smugglers were already dead or captured, all the commotion that was caused had a good chance of attracting any animal or magical beast in the region. Even if few of them act in this aria, there is still a lot of chance of some annoying new enemy.

Carmilla was quite annoyed when their fight was interrupted when their enemy was attacked by Nolan, Abel and Quinn at the same time. The spearman was completely overwhelmed when he was hit by so many blows, he had his arm and some ribs broken when he was attacked by so many enemies.

Having the spearman subdued and captured everyone's attention he turned to Mitus who was being beaten by Ana. Both are warriors at the same stage but the difference between them is stark, even not knowing the limit of Ana's power I can see that she is far from reaching her limit different from Mitus who is being dominated and beaten.

I understand how Mitus must be feeling right now, facing a defensive warrior who is stronger than you in close combat like this is horrible, he can't build up his strength in his hammer with a long swing as Ana's shield intercepts his blows no matter from what angle he swings his titanic hammer.

And like seeing a kid slam into a solid wall trying to knock it down with his light punches, I doubt Mitus is doing any damage to Ana during this fight.

Her earth element defensive strength is far superior to the offensive power of Mitus' fire aura, I knew Ana was considered a genius but seeing the way she is subduing Mitus she is on a completely different level than a core warrior green should have.
