With my day over I meet Hilda and tell her about the orb we got from the guardian and how Raziel will want it. She is surprised by the properties and uses the orb has, she even said that she had to find an orb compatible with her elements.
Not that I think this is possible to be done now, except for the dungeons that have the shadow element as predominant, the other dungeons in the city are more neutral, they don't have an elemental inclination, to make orbs of the element wind, water or even the ice element are conceived when killing a guardian.
To tell the truth I did a lot of research on dungeons last year, in the library and the number of dungeons that have strong elemental inclinations are few, most dungeons have different themes that define certain characteristics of it.
As the bloody arena, this dungeon is basically an arena, even I heard that there is a dungeon some of the travel ones whose theme is maze and traps, that dungeon doesn't have many monsters but several different traps in a stone maze, I was fine interested in it, but I still haven't had the excuse or the free time to go exploring.

I would have to travel to another country to find a fire element dungeon or I can only settle for buying fire element materials from merchants.
Hilda, on the other hand, suffers from the same problem since she doesn't even have a dungeon with an affinity for the element water or ice. But Hilda's delusions aside, she has no problem giving Raziel time to gather enough gold coins to cover the value of the robe.
When Ingredi appeared she was quite angry, according to her we ended up leaving Torris and Sten injured. I don't really understand why she's so angry they'll both have to spend the night in the temple before they can go back to institute. And not one of them is in danger, inside the temple of the twin goddesses that is guarded by various warriors and holy magicians from the church.
And after Hilda told Ingredi why we didn't go to the temple, she punched me a few times and said I was a paranoid idiot, I don't see anything wrong with being a little paranoid and better than the alternative of being ambushed by enemies. I prefer to avoid being ambushed like I was last year; I just want a quiet year of war between nobles.
Ingredi also said that Torris' shield doesn't have much chance of being repaired, it looks like it will have to be reforged or simply recycled, his maturation only the gauntlets were damaged. Already Sten who took the violent kick of the guardian, had his shield destroyed and his ripeness was smashed into, but it is still repairable the remains of the shield are barely worth the scrap as it is made of simple and cheap materials.
The rest of the day ended quietly, and the next day Hilda and I accompanied Ingredi to fetch Torres and Sten from the temple. next week for the nun's explanation of the medicine and to help repair their bones.
The bones of the two have suffered a lot in the fight against the guardian, and to repair the damage and eliminate any microfractures that may remain in the bone, it is necessary to drink this medicine for a whole week and each dose costs four gold coins.
I feel like I'm being robbed because I know the ingredients needed to make a dose of this medicine shouldn't even reach the value of a gold coin. The temple should make a big profit selling medicines and treatments.
After escorting the two of them back to the institute to rest in their rooms, they will be bedridden for the next few days. I spent the next week quietly training, going to my classes and spending time with Hilda.
But unfortunately, fate had different plans for me, in my week of the week I received an invitation to meet Viktor at an inn in the city in the letter saying he had a trade offer for me. I was very confused by this invitation,
Hilda thinks I should go, but I'm suspicious of Viktor's intentions to meet him in a place he knows and I don't, and put me at his mercy and that makes me uncomfortable.
I thought about it a lot and in the end decided I would go, but I wouldn't go alone I would have Raziel following me at a distance and Hilda following him. I know this might sound very paranoid and neither of them was very interested in my plan, but when I explained if I'm a little unlucky and Viktor wants to hurt me or rob me then they can ambush Viktor's henchmen if they go weaker if they are strong, they should run to the guild and denounce Viktor.
The fat man is an adventurer and attacking another adventurer for no reason and a criminal attitude and the guild had dispatched a group of hunters to rescue me so I could profit from looting the corpse of Viktor and his henchmen.
So, when the date of the meeting came, I went 'alone' to the inn that Viktor had arranged for us to meet and the whole way I've been looking for anything that felt wrong, someone stalking me taking Raziel or someone hiding ready to ambush me through my way, but other than normal people i didn't find anything wrong in my way.
When I checked into the inn, I saw all the others that were in the building, there were some people with a black and gray core, but there was only one green core in the entire inn. Looks like Viktor is already waiting, but before going in I checked the surrounding buildings looking for a green core but I couldn't find one besides Viktor.
But that doesn't mean they're all civilians and not working with Viktor, but the fact that I'll only have one enemy with a green core and the rest would have at most a gray core. Entering the inn, I saw the fat warrior sitting in mine in the tavern and it makes me have a bad feeling.
I sit across from Viktor.
"Hi Ulric. I'm so glad you came to see me today I wasn't sure you would."
"Why wouldn't I come? That and just a conversation between fellow adventurers not the enmity between us."
"Yes, you're right. I called you here today for two matters, first and about the orb you had gotten a few days ago, I believe you must have evaluated it by now and I would like to purchase it if it is the material, I believe it is. "

When I saw irritation on Viktor's face, I used my peripheral vision to see my surroundings and see if anyone who works at the inn or adventurer has any reaction to my refusal, but it doesn't help.
"And what is the second proposal you want to make Viktor?"
"I'm really unhappy that we can't agree on the orb, but since you're not going to sell it, I can just be patient and wait for the next orb that comes on the market. The second issue I would like to discuss is an invitation to audition, I am an associate of the Night Stalkers clan, they are always looking for adventurers with potency and I can see that you and some of your colleagues might be a good candidate to join the clan."
"Would you be interested?"
"No, and thanks for inviting me but unfortunately I'm not interested in joining a clan, if you don't have anything else to ask me, I'll leave."
"My friend, you may not know anymore the Night Stalker clan is a large and powerful clan, an invitation to their test is not an easy thing to get, the few people like me who can invite some candidates to take the test. Are you really not interested?"
"No, I'm already leaving, hopefully next time we can do some profitable deals. Have a nice day."
I get up and start walking out of the inn and don't stop even when Viktor tries to convince me again. As I leave the inn, I start walking calmly towards the institute I can see that Raziel and Hilda are still following me normally and Viktor is still standing in the inn.
He doesn't leave the table he was at I kept my lookout over his position until I couldn't see him anymore.
Looks like he really didn't even have a negative intention for me. But it's a shame he didn't have anything useful to trade with me.
The invitation to a powerful clan and useless for my current situation, if by chance I passed the test and joined the clan I would just be a worthless intern, and if I want to use the clan's influence or its resources, I will have to sign a contract who had forced me to work in the interests of the clan and that will only hinder me.
I didn't mean to tie myself to even a noble family, because I would tie myself to a clan even if they have fewer rules and restrictions, even a lot of them and they will hinder me a lot now for little benefit.
So, Viktor's invitation is useless, if I'm going to join a clan it will be in the future, when I'm stronger so I can have more bargaining power with a clan of adventurers.
