Chapter 121 - Raid.

With the arrival of the day my group arranged to enter the dungeon for the last time. I felt strangely sad, I know I might be overreacting, but I feel like this might be the last time I go into a dungeon with this lineup.

Even though I can still go into dungeons and do guild or institute quests with my teammates, I've noticed several cracks in the relationship of my group members.

Some of them are small and normal, as we are people with different goals and styles so it's normal that we look for different resources in dungeons, but I have a bad feeling, I believe my group will split.

The gap between the members is getting bigger and bigger, the Holy Brothers are falling behind in comparing themselves to the others. This is normal as your talent and slightly inferior both are still in the dark core and probably only advanced two months from now.

Both were already behind for lack of offensive power, as a block without an elemental seed is weaker than a warrior with an elemental seed when it still has a black core.

Only after mastering the technique of releasing the aura out of the body is the distance between these two types of warriors eliminated. Without this ability, warriors can only use their aura to strengthen their body and weapon.

They cannot use arts and their attack range is limited. Only when your aura physically manifests outside your body can warriors without an elemental seed match those who have one.

And so, the Holt brothers were always left to complete the defense and assist the attackers. This is normal, but as their core has not advanced, they would put themselves at very high risk by trying to follow the rhythm of the rest of the group.

Only after they advance and manage to manifest their aura to attack and cover their body will they be able to fight at the same level as the rest of the team.

And as it may take a few months, it's not normal for the group to be indebted, even Raziel, Torris and Hilda have different interests and probably go after different missions.

But for some reason I can't figure out I feel like the group I've put together is splitting up never to go back to what it used to be. I feel like I have to go after other companions to explore the dungeons and even to do guild quests.

I have been researching groups that have vacancies for an adventurer with my skills and characteristics to be able to write me and participate in quests and upper floors of the dungeons.

Even though I am limited to the floor I stopped when I enter a dungeon alone, I can join a large group to enter different floors.

This is risky because twenty-person groups tend to face even greater resistance in the dungeons, even on the lower floors, but this is the only way to avoid traveling far from the city after level 2 and 3 magical animals.

Because of the conflict between the current nobles the southern region became cleaner, not only bandits who suffered the repercussions of the dispute between the nobles, the animals and magical beasts were also harmed by the conflict, except for some places that are used as nests for certain animals and magical beasts most of them that are not in nest protection or are bred in managed forests like the emerald forest have been hunted in the last few weeks.

The only ones who are enjoying the conflict between the nobles are the merchants the southern region is now extremely safe and they are using this time to transport large quantities of products, usually they avoid making a caravan with many products, but now the trade between the cities, villages and private properties are being very busy.

With several caravans leaving the city every day with a huge number of resources, the only downside is that the frenzied trading aria is restricted to the southern aria of the kingdom, outside of this aria traders are not fools to take chances with a caravan that are carrying goods worth thousands of gold coins.

But aside from escort missions that have increased in the adventurers' guild, hunting missions and even natural resource harvesting missions decrease a lot. Now the only place to gather material for most adventurers is the dungeons, but as various groups have formed to explore the dungeons the death toll has been increasing rapidly.

How to enter the dungeons with few people or alone, you end up suffering because of the dungeon rules the current hunting parties so having the minimum number of twenty people so they can explore the dungeons from the fifth floor and up and how to exchange several members makes the dungeons think it's a different group a new group, the various groups of adventurers being formed and disbanded every day.

Clans are having fun with this as they are made up of a large number of adventurers, but smaller groups have to take chances with new members every day. And this has generated many more cases of adventurers killed by other adventurers than by dungeon monsters.

As the few ways to record images inside a dungeon, magic tools of this type that were available on the market were all bought and those who create them are not only focusing on their production but also increased their price, the price of this type of tool has already tripled. Craftsmen must be loving the new trend in the market and it's a shame that few of them are competent enough to create this kind of tool.

The materials used may not all be rare, but the skill needed to create them is large and few are used to creating them.

With that after today I'm going to try to join one of the twenty to twenty-five temporary adventurer's groups to break into a dungeon. I know it's dangerous and with my luck I can end up encountering a sea of monsters the first time I enter a dungeon with a large group.

I'm inclined to try to face the risks of entering the bloody arena, as monsters are constantly outnumbering and this lowers the risk, but to increase the risk it's on the guardian or guardians of the prized floors they can end up being mortals.

With my equipment ready, I meet my friends near the institute's exit, when I get there my companions were already waiting for me and prepared to enter the dungeon again.

On our way to the dungeon, I noticed the unusual behavior of some members. Ingredi was next to her sister which is something normal, but she is using Hilda as a barrier to not have to talk to the rest of the group. This is unusual for her who is usually very sociable and gets along well with all the group members.

The others besides Erick who is acting normally are also avoiding interacting with each other, and that means there is a new problem on the team that I don't know about.

I'll ask Hilda later, to find out what's happened in the last few days.

As we approach the dungeon, I notice several large groups in the surrounding aria and entering the dungeon, I thought the sober burrow would not be a very popular dungeon for large groups, but it seems that reality proved me wrong.

From the group's equipment I can see that they are fighting the dungeon darkness with some custom flashlights, their functionality is normal to the difference in them and that they light up in several directions at the same time and they are quite long.

It seems that in each group there are two carriers holding one of these custom lanterns and with them in the group's mine the dungeon tunnel should be lit entirely and this should probably make the group the target of all monsters on the floor, but to defend from them the groups seem to be formed by several shield warriors.

It seems that these groups have opted for a defensive strategy for the dungeon they must lure the monsters into a fortified position by the defensive equipment that I see some members carrying to various artificial barriers, wires and traps to use in the dungeon.

I'm really curious to see this kind of combat, maybe I should try joining one of these groups to explore the dungeon. But when entering the dungeon, the stupid idea of using light tools to lure the dungeon monsters into a trap occurs to me and since I don't even need a tool to see in the dark, I can hide in the shadows.

While a lantern attracts monsters and when they accumulate in the lantern and blast them with an explosive rune matrix, it may not be the cheapest strategy, but it's a great escape strategy if I find myself surrounded or being pursued by a considerable number of monsters.

Even a device with the lowest firepower can be useful in a dungeon so I have focused my research on developing an elemental grenade. But this proved to be a complex project for several different reasons.
