Chapter 2 - Bow to the Ruler

Voltaire took the book and opened it. Voltaire was fascinated by the letters. Unfortunately, young Voltaire couldn't read it. He jumps off the window and goes back to his home. Young Voltaire hopes that his father would calm down but only found guards and investigators. His mother died through hard beatings and his father flee.

Young Voltaire couldn't accept it and run while crying. Ever since that day, his grudge to the world deepens like shackles in his mind forming a new kind of clear vision.

Young Voltaire manifested a talent where he can learn everything faster than a human could. Using that talent, he rises into his school ranks without any private tutor or personal library only the lecture of his professor and the given book to study.

As a man with no parents and a peasant, Voltaire's learning option was limited so his hate grew to extremities.

"I hate this world!" said Voltaire.

Only for him to realize that to change the world he would need to lead it. So he started to create a band of people who are called "Changer".

The group was lead by Voltaire and targets corrupted politicians. If someone died, he would release public evidence that would tell the politician's crime under the name "Anonymous".

Voltaire's group was successful in taking down corrupted politicians during his student days. But he encountered a heavy obstacle "Magicians". Unlike normal humans, magicians are powerful humans that can invoke mana into the shape of nature. Voltaire's group was halved with just one magician backing up the corrupted politician.

So he remembered his defeat and disabled the group not disbanded.

Voltaire's hate for magic began as he started learning it. He reached 3rd Circle at the age of 18 and reached the 6th Circle at the age of 24. And he regrouped the "Changers" and started a revolution.

Voltaire's leadership made his man want to fight for him and made the gap between poor and rich almost non-existent physically. it was the golden age for the Kingdom of Voltaire.

Having one step towards victory Voltaire's subordinate asked Voltaire.

"There are still slaves to be freed why not focus on that first?"

The subordinates of Voltaire hoped for a great response will come from their great leader.

"Slaves-who?"

But it was a disaster. His friends who were former slave was offended and left with huge anger in their hearts.

Voltaire was still drunk and slept after his talk with his loyal friends. He intends the freedom of slaves as a surprise for his comrades tomorrow and he plays dumb only for him to meet a grave end.

Tomorrow was the coronation of Voltaire being an official King. The slaves were freed, there are no poor and everyone loves the country. But the King didn't come. And didn't wake up, forever.
