Voltaire was born in a poor family. His father was a shoemaker and his mother is a seamstress. His life was a poor one and filled with despair...
Especially, when his father comes back home.
Every time his father came home it was a disaster. Voltaire's father was filled with hate for his world but blames it on his own family. As a result, every time that Voltaire's father saw him, he got bruises and injuries. The pain that the young Voltaire experience made him scream in anger and smacked his father.
But it was a grave decision made by Voltaire. His father's anger exploded and didn't hold back to throw a full power punch at his son. Young Voltaire flew to the walls and his face is barely recognizable. Voltaire quickly regretted his decision and repeatedly said "I'm sorry." with an audible voice and unrecognizable face. But his father's anger wasn't subsided and threw another punch.
Weirdly enough that he didn't feel the hard rock fist of his father but a warm embrace of his mother. He saw her mother trying to receive blows instead of Young Voltaire. Young Voltaire got scared and run away knowing that his mother is beaten to death.
This was his first guilt and made him numb. The Young Voltaire's resolve cracks and jumps into the river knowing that it was his last act to commit in the physical world.
Fortunately for him, he was saved by a priest who saw him committing a grievous sin. Young Voltaire who is seemingly giving up woke in dead eyes attempting to choke himself in the next second. But a young girl hugged him and stopped his energyless body easily from choking himself.
That time he thought that he saw an angel and sleeps away. But the image of his parents didn't let him rest. Instead, he roams around the foreign room and saw his angel talking with another child. Then he saw a pile of books. He is not interested in books but a phrase caught his attention. The phrase "Rule to Dominate."
