Yamada sprinted back over to the three. He leapt up to them over shooting and floating over the railing. He leant in scanning around him. "Why's everyone staring at me?" He whispered. Aurelia and Begron reeled back in disbelief shaking their heads. Yamada looked to Luci as the two went into a fit throwing their hands up stuttering and blabbering. "What's wrong with them?" Luci shrugged. "Can we get breakfast? I'm starving." Luci pinched her nose turning away. "You smell." Yamada chuckled. "I almost forgot. I should take a bath huh?" The two slumped back in their seats at a loss for words. "What the fuck is he?" Aurelia said in Elvish. "I have no idea..." "Can I hold it?" "Sure!" "NO!" Begron and Aurelia shouted startling them. Begron cleared his throat. "Maybe after he gets cleaned up. It's dirty, and he needs something to eat." He said forcing a smile. Aurelia joined in pulling Luci away from him.
Urkse and Valsko were equally stunned in the crowd. Their jaws swinging on the ground. "Are you seeing this?" Valsko asked. "Of course I fucking see it! Who could possibly miss this?" Urkse hissed. "How is he moving that thing right now?" "I don't know...but the only person I know crazy enough to move something like that freely was..." "Hey. They're dead. You saw an entire fucking kingdom drop on their heads. We searched that rubble and found nothing." "Still...maybe it's him. Maybe he survived, and if he survived-" Valsko slapped his head. "Don't be stupid. Look at him. Does he look like an Islander to you?" "No...his hair isn't affected by Enk magic either." Urkse let out a sigh shaking his head. "It isn't him." "Good. Now let's follow that crazy fuck, and see if we can make him join Annorak." "What about our plan?" "He just solved one of our problems. We still have to find those damn pillars."
Returning to their keep, Yamada was drenched in buckets of water before being ushered into the bathing area. "Oh, can you look after this while I take a bath?" Yamada asked handing Harbinger to Begron. He looked at the handle and gulped. "Why don't you hold onto it. Give it a clean while you're in there." "Smart!" Yamada said. Begron cocked his head to the side frowning at the sight. Yamada dunked Harbinger into the water before placing it beside him. It shattered the stone floor beside him sinking in.
Begron shut the door and found Aurelia pacing around nervously with Luci slumped over the bed. "Begron! What did you find out?" "I don't know who you found, but he's insane." "Yam-Yam isn't crazy." Luci pouted. "I-We'll talk about this later. Aurelia I can't let you two go with him." "NO!" Luci cried out. "Dear, I know you want to play with him, but anyone that strong is dangerous." "Then who better to protect us?" "What!?" Begron snapped. "Dear, you still have business here. Who better to protect us than the man, who just killed Artaraxus's greatest warrior and bested their test of strength?" Begron pursed his lips to a line. "No one would even remotely come near us. We'd be free to do whatever we want again." "Please! Please!" Luci begged clinging to his leg. "Fine, but just until we're done here." "YAY!" Luci cheered. A knock at their door made them pause. Begron cautiously opened the door seeing Yamada still dripping wet wearing nothing but a towel. "Sorry, but is there something I can wear? The women kept giggling and saying this was the fashion here?"
"I don't have-" Begron stopped hearing Aurelia making sound. He turned around see her inspecting his rippling muscles, letting out steam. She swallowed some saliva. "Just wait out here. I'll get you something." "Oh, can I wait insi-" Begron slammed the door in Yamada's face snapping Aurelia out of it. "I wasn't staring!" She said startled. "Luci, make sure your mother doesn't open that door, till I get him some clothes. "I mean do we have to? We could just get him another-" "Don't open that door!" Begron shouted frantically going through his wardrobe. "Damn it! He's too short for my clothes." Begron came out to see Yamada standing in the living room with Aurelia eyeing him. "I said don't let your mother open that door." "I did." "Then how is he in here?" "I let him in." Begron stopped making a fist. "I can't be mad at you. Could you please wait a moment while I get you some clothes?" "Sure. Also do you know where I can get some Orichalcum chains?"
Begron stopped. "Why?" "I can't always be carrying that sword in my hand." "And your plan for that...is to make it heavier?" "Orichalcum isn't heavy." Yamada chuckled. "Aurelia, come with me. I need your help getting him clothes." "You got this. I believe in you." She said taking a seat and biting her lower lip. Begron rolled his eyes grabbing her by the arm. She dropped a hair pin on the ground on purpose. "Could you pick that up for me please?" She said being dragged out. Yamada happily obliged bending over. "By Vasha..." She said amazed at the sight. "Alright enough of that." "The roundness and firmness though." Begron pushed her out as she tried her hardest to keep looking. Yamada and Luci scratched their heads. "Mummy's strange." "I wonder why." "Hey, can I play with your sword now?" "Sure!" Begron stormed back in grabbing Luci by the pits. "Could you please wait here, while I get you some clothes and Luci proper training clothes?" Yamada nodded confused at Aurelia gawking at him around the door. "Woman! Will you move it!" Begron scolded shoving her away. Yamada stood awkwardly in the centre of their room as the door slammed shut in front of him.
"Woman, will you control yourself?" "I'm sorry my beloved, but you've clearly been denying me the body that I deserve." "I have not!" "Did you not see his body?" "He's short." "That hardly matters when those are wrapped around your body." "Do you want to hug Yam-Yam?" "Yes." "No!" Begron scolded cutting her off. "Stay here." He sighed pinching between his brow. "I'm going to get him some clothes that fit." Begron took one step away before turning around to see Aurelia an Luci reaching for the door handle. He rolled his eyes storming into the room. Aurelia and Luci peeked around the door. Begron threw a pair of his pants and shirt at him. "Put those on for now. I'll have a tailor come around and shorten them." "Oh, I can do that." Yamada said slipping into them. "What do you-" Begron's jaw dropped as Yamada ripped off the sleeves and the pant legs. "Those are very expensive and high quality-" "Oh, Yamaxon. Look at what you have done. You shouldn't wear those anymore. Take them off." Aurelia said taking a seat admiring the sight. "Keep that on at all times." Aurelia frowned at Begron.
"Is there breakfast? Or should I go find some." "I have something you can eat." Begron threw a cushion at Aurelia. "What do you want to eat?" Luci asked. "Mmmm, something with a lot of meat in it." "I have something just for you. It's a delicacy." Begron said. "Oh. That word means good." Yamada said. "I'll have someone bring it for you." The four waited for a few minutes in their room, with Yamada inspecting the new Harbinger's edge. "What are you doing?" Luci asked. "Checking if its sharp." Luci grabbed a cushion swinging it against the edge. It split the cushion in half exploding with feathers. "Luci!" Aurelia scolded. "What?" Yamada giggled "We'll test how sharp it is later together." "Yay! Can I finally hold it?" "Sure!" Luci wrapped her tiny hands around the hilt. She strained trying to move it. She frowned. "How are you moving this? It's so heavy!" "Told you." Yamada cocked an eyebrow lifting it up and down with ease. "Mmm, no it's light." "Daddy! How is he doing that?" "Yes, dear. How IS he doing that?" Aurelia asked with a sly smile. He gave her a side eye before looking at Luci.
"He's very skilled and powerful with his Arcane Energy. Who taught you?" Yamada froze. "You wouldn't know her." "I have a lived for a very long time and seen many battles. Give me a name." "Gwen-" Begron perked up. Yamada paused his eyes racing around the room. "caralanna.." "Gwencaralanna?" Begron repeated. "...Yes...." "That's the worst fake name I've ever heard." Begron scolded. "Who taught you." Begron asked again clenching his fists. "Gwyneth Lockhart." Yamada said. Begron and Aurelia shared a look. "Last I had heard she had never taken any students after the death of Hendrik Xenarith." "I...was before then." "You mean the two students she had during the war." "Yes. I am that one..." "The two students who died during the said war." A light gate opened above Yamada. "Who are you really?" Begron growled. "I'm Yamaxon Lockhart." Yamada blurted out. Begron relaxed shaking his head in disbelief.
"You...I had heard rumours and whispers, but...you're the son of Hendrik and Gwyneth?" "...Yes." "That would make you the heir to this kingdom." Aurelia said shocked. "You're a prince Yam-Yam!" He chuckled nervously. "Yep...that's me." "Yes...yes! I can see the resemblance. How remarkable. You truly are their child. I see both of their skills have passed onto the next generation. It is an honour to meet a child of such prestige."
"Well...I would be honoured to have someone like you to protect my wife and child." "YAY!" Yamada offered out his hand. "I'll keep them safe..." "Be-" "Be-be!" Luci snapped. The two looked at her. "Yam-Yam and Be-Be!" Aurelia giggled. "It is a cute name." "What's wrong with my name Lu-Lu?" "It's boring." Begron felt his heart shatter. "But-" Luci crossed her arms. "Be-be and Yam-Yam." She said firmly. "I'm not calling myself-" Aurelia let out an exaggerated sigh. "So rigid to change yet nothing rigid on him. How can my husband be so selfish?" Begron took a deep inhale through his nose. "I'm not being-" "Yamaxon take off your shirt." "Why would he-" Begron paused seeing Yamada already shirtless. "Why did you take it off?" "Because she asked me to. As her guardian I need do what she says." "And flexible. Could you also take off your-" "Be-Be and Yam-Yam!" Begron said firmly shaking Yamada's hand. "You keep your shirt and pants on at all times. Am I understood?" "Unless I ask otherwise." "Uhhh..what do I do?" "Excuse me for one moment." "I'm just playing! He'll keep his clothes on at all times....It's more fun to rip it off his body anyway." She muttered in Elvish.
A knock on the door caught their attention. "My lord and lady. We have brought the food you requested." "Ah. Here we go. Breakfast is served." Handmaidens in flowing and revealing dresses sauntered in. Aurelia quickly covered Luci's eyes. Begron smirked as platter after platter of raw fish were presented to Yamada. He stood over them his jaw gaping. 'Let's see how you handle eating this. I bet you can't even stoma-' He looked up at Begron with sparkling radiant eyes filled with joy. "How did you know!? This is my favourite!" He said joyously devouring the platters. Aurelia and Luci winced at the sounds being made, and the unsavoury food in front of him. "How...how are you eating that?" Begron asked. Yamada looked at him confused, his cheeks filled to the brim with food. "I put it in my mouth?" Aurelia tried to conceal her smile.
"I have business to attend to. Please take care of them." He stopped beside Aurelia. "Can I trust that you'll do the right thing?" He asked in Elvish. "I'm hurt. I would never betray your trust or hurt you my dear." He cupped her face and smiled. "I'll see you soon. I love you." "I love you too." As Begron opened the door. "Now, I wonder what his hair looks like wrapped around my legs?" She turned back to him with a coy smile waving him goodbye. Yamada wiped his mouth reeling back satisfied. "That was a great! What do you want to do?" "I want to see the whole kingdom!" "Let's go!" Yamada cheered slinging Luci onto his shoulder. "Did you want to ride on my shoulder too?" Aurelia looked at him stunned. "I think I'll walk for now." "Let's go already!" Luci said impatiently waiting at the door. Yamada slung Harbinger over his shoulder. "Yeah I need a chain for Harbinger anyway." The two turned to him. "You named your sword?" Luci asked. "Yep. The greatest swords have names. This is mine." "Mummy, how come you never told me?"
"Because you don't own a sword." "Yam-Yam, can we go get a sword?" "Yeah!" "Absolutely not! You are not having a sword." "But!" "No buts. You are a lady, and ladies do not wield a weapon." She frowned and sulked at Aurelia. "You don't need a sword. I'll teach you to punch even harder than any weapon." "YAY!" "That wasn't what I meant!" Yamada sauntered out with Luci on his shoulders dancing along. She let out a sigh following after them. Aurelia immediately felt the thousand gazes aimed at them. Every Artraxian gawked at Yamada slinging Harbinger effortlessly over his shoulder. "Hmmm..." "What's wrong?" Yamada asked Luci. "I want to be strong like you." Yamada smiled. "Well you have to train then." "But, it hurts when I hit things." "It never stops hurting." Yamada said showing his knuckles to Luci. "The only way to get past the pain, is to have a good reason to become strong. So what's your reason?" "Daddy...daddy is always missing..." Luci pouted.
Aurelia furrowed her brow hearing her heart ache. "If I'm strong enough daddy won't keep leaving mummy." "Why do you think that?" Yamada asked. "Mykel told me that daddy doesn't have strong fighters. That's why he keeps leaving." "And if you're strong enough, then he won't need to leave." Luci nodded. "Well after I find my friends. How about we train together?" "You mean it?" "Of course. I'll teach you everything I know." He turned to Aurelia. "If that's okay with you." "Can he mum!? Can he!? Please!?" "Mmmm I can't say no to you, but we have to help him find his friends first." Luci let out a whoop throwing her hands into the air. Aurelia gave a solemn smile following after them. They enjoyed the streets as much as they could, however the gawking eyes made Aurelia's skin crawl. She had never felt so many eyes on her before. Luci and Yamada happily strolled through the streets without a care in the world, peering into every vendors stall, completely oblivious to their gawking.
Valsko and Urkse bumped into Yamada startling Luci, still wearing their cloaks." She clung onto his hair scowling at them. "Oh. I am so sorry." Valsko said. Yamada cocked his head recognizing him and dropped Luci. "I should have been watching where I was go-" Yamada drove his fist into Valsko's face. He went flying with a cloud of blood and teeth. He landed with a crunch convulsing and twitching. Yamada drew Harbinger into the air. "I told you that I would kill you the next time I saw you!" Urkse took a step forward. Yamada quickly laced Harbinger under his chin.. He threw his hands up. "I have no business with you. If you're with him, you'll die with him." "How do you know him?" "He attacked me. Now get out of my way." A black whip wrapped around Yamada's throat. It threw him into the air for a split second, with Yamada using Harbinger as an Anchor. Yamada glared up at them seeing Urkse sprinting off with Valsko on his shoulder. "Are you okay?" Aurelia asked clutching her chest. "Yeah...I'm fine." "Who were they?" "One of them is a bad person the other...he sounded familiar." He looked around at the onlookers. "If you all want a turn at me keep staring." Wind blew as everyone shuffled to turn away. "That was amazing! He went flying! Can you teach me that?" "Sure I can."
The two vent from each vendor to vendor inspecting their wares and goods. "Ah little girl! Would you like to play a game?" The vendor asked holding up three cards. "Sure!" Yamada let her down. "Keep your eye on the little queen, like yourself." The merchant shuffled the cards. Luci pointed at the middle card. "Amazing!" The vendor said revealing the right card. "That was easy!" "Ohoho! Shall we play for some gold then?" "Luci." "But mum, it's so easy." Aurelia reluctantly placed one gold coin on the table. The man smiled and shuffled the cards with deftness. Luci confidently placed her finger onto the middle card. Yamada slid her finger to the one on the right. The vendor and Luci looked at him. "The girl put her finger on the middle one." "It's not the middle one." Yamada said firmly. "Mummy, which one was it?" "No cheating." The vendor said. Luci went deep into thought before picking the card on the right. The vendor reluctantly flipped the card revealing the queen. Luci threw her hands into the air hugging Aurelia. She locked eyes with Yamada. 'How did he even know? That card was definitely in the middle.'
"Would you like another try little girl?" "Mmmhmm!" The vendor this time shuffled with lightning fast speed. Aurelia and Luci's jaw dropped as they floated down. Luci hesitantly raised her arm to point. Yamada stopped her arm. "He's cheating. None of those cards are the queen." "What are you talking about?" He said crossed. "If you haven't cheated. You won't mind me flipping the cards then." The vendor snatched Yamada's wrist. "Hey what are you doing!?" He hissed. "I flip those cards. They're mine." "I'll buy you ones made of solid gold, if you haven't cheated." Aurelia said. The vendor gulped. Yamada ignored his hand flipping all three cards over to now be kings. Luci gasped. "Cheater!" She shouted. "Listen here you little shi-" Yamada snatched him by the throat raising him into the air. "Insult her and you'll die a slow death." Yamada growled squeezing a little tighter. The vendor gasped clawing and kicking at him before almost going limp. He threw the vendor aside letting him gasp and choke.
"Shall we go look for another thing to do?" Yamada asked gently. Luci nodded pouting at the vendor. Aurelia flicked a gold coin at the vendor. "Consider that compensation for your stall, and remember him the next time you insult my daughter." She walked off taking her place beside Yamada. The two stopped at tavern with Luci complaining about being thirsty. Entering the unsavoury bar the three were met with gawks. First for being Elven royalty and a second later recognition as the strongest man in Artaraxus.
Luci and Yamada sauntered to the bar first, with him helping her up onto the stool. "One orange juice please!" Luci said. "We don't have that here." The burly bartender said. "Apple juice then." "Don't have that either." "Grape jui-" "Listen little lady. We don't have any juice left. It's almost winter all the fruit for us is gone. You want juice. Go back to your castle and f-" Yamada placed his fist onto the counter. "Find another bar that does..." The man gulped. Luci dropped her head. "You said left, that means you had juice right?" "Yes, we had lychee juice." Yamada perked up. "Show me the barrel." The bartender scoffed. "What are you going to do lick the barrel..." He trailed off seeing Yamada's scowl. "Follow me." The four entered into the cellar with the Bartender pointing to the barrel. "You can leave us now." "I can't just-" Yamada dropped Harbinger letting it hit the ground and quake the whole ground. The bartender ran away terrified. Aurelia watched on in disbelief as Yamada pulled it out using his toes.
Luci knock the lid off showing a few drops of juice left. "Yam-Yam, there's nothing left." Yamada looked at the two of them. "Can you two keep a secret?" "Sure." "Sure..." Aurelia said shakily. Yamada reached into the barrel touching the juice. After a few seconds Yamada bent back up pointing the full barrel of juice at them. Luci's eyes beamed with amazement. "WOW! HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?" "Shhh." Yamada said. Luci slapped her mouth shut. "A secret okay." Luci nodded. "Oh...do you have the money to buy this barrel? I love lychee juice." Aurelia nodded her eyes wide open. Yamada poured Luci a cup and himself one. The two clinked their mugs slugging the drink back. "Mummy! Do you want one." She shook her head, her face still stunned. "What should we do now?" Yamada asked. "I don't know, mummy what do you want to do?" "I...I need some air..." "Oh, I have a great idea for that." Yamada said. "Here follow me. Grab your mum."
Yamada slung the barrel over his shoulder and Harbinger on the other. Luci tugged on Aurelia's arm dragging her out. The bartender watched Yamada jog out with the barrel on his shoulder. He shook his head derisively before seeing the cork leaking out juice. He cocked his head to the side as Yamada plugged it up. "Thanks for the juice!" He said. "Thank you!" Luci said. Aurelia placed a bag of gold coins on the bench rushing after him. "Where are we going Yam-Yam?" "I need an Orichalcum chain first." The three stopped at a armourer pounding on a breast plate. "Do you have pure Orichalcum?" The armourer reeled back leaning to the side to inspect Harbinger. "UM...yes..." "Do you have about... like my height in chains?" "Y..yy...yeah..." He stammered completely enamoured at the weapon before him. "Can I get that please?" "Sure...um do you have gold?" "Oh no. I don't." He looked to Aurelia. She still stared at him completely baffled mindlessly handing the armour the last of her coin. The armourer backed up slowly unhooking a chain of Orichalcum off the wall.
"What are you going to do-" Yamada wrapped the chain around the guard and hilt slinging the rest over his shoulder. "Ah. Better." The armourer fell to his knees at the sight. "Now what?" "Now I have a free hand." "But mummy still needs air. Right?" She nodded with her jaw hanging. Yamada slung Luci onto his shoulders, with the barrel under his left. Aurelia snapped out of her stunned daze with Yamada wrapping his arm around her waist. "Wait, what are you-YAH!" She squealed. Yamada took off sprinting at top speed, leaping high into the air, and stepping off rooftops. Luci let out a whoop enjoying the wind rushing through her hair. Aurelia screamed at the top of her lungs clinging to Yamada's arm. The three stopped atop the castle walls of Hendrik quadrant. Aurelia squirmed out of Yamada's grasp with Luci cackling at the sight of her. "What? What is it!?" She snapped at her. "Your hair mummy!" She marched over to the equally stunned guards on the wall using their armour as a mirror.
Her hair blew wildly in every direction resembling a bird's next. "I did not agree to that!" she snapped marching towards Yamada and Luci both smiling at her. "You said you wanted air Mummy." "Not like that! Never like that!" Yamada gently placed Harbinger onto the castle wall. It sank into the ground nearly shattering that portion of the wall. He jumped quickly slinging it back on his shoulders. "Mmm, this one is so much heavier than Harbinger. Guess I have to carry it then."
"Yamaxon. We are getting off this wall right now. Take us down." Aurelia ordered. "Are you sure? I think you'll like this." "I assure you if it was anything like that, I will not." "Mummy, please?" She sighed pinching between her brow. "Fine, but if it's anything dangerous, I am leaving with Luci instantly. What are we doing up here?" Hearing no response she found Yamada next to two of the guards. "I'm gonna go borrow your armour. I promise, I'll bring it right back." "You can just-" The guards stopped with Yamada ripping their cuirass off at the straps. "I'll be back." He said leaving them frozen in disbelief. Yamada morphed their armour into a seat for two with a long chain. Aurelia glared him with flaring nostrils and the white of her eyes covered in red veins. "Absolutely not." "What is it?" Luci asked. "It's a swing. I use to do to this with Kale all the time for training. 'Kale?' "Here I'll show you." Yamada pushed Aurelia and Luci into the seat. She tried to protest but felt a small band wrap around her waist.
"Wai-" Yamada hurled them off the wall. The two screamed for two different reasons. Yamada sprinted across the wall dragging the two behind him. They flew high into the air feeling the wind beating them in the face. Luci threw her hands up absolutely thrilled. Aurelia clung on for death life screaming with her eyes closed. Yamada smiled sprinting along the wall. He leapt over each guard post, creating wild swings and dips. After a few minutes Yamada came to a stop letting them dangle off the edge, before pulling them up. "How was it?" Yamada asked slightly huffed. "Put me down right-" "AGAIN! AGAIN!" "Okay!" "NO WAAIIIIIII!!" Her screams faded with Yamada taking off. Her terrified screaming became mixed with laughter feeling Luci grab her hands off the belt. "PUT YOUR HANDS UP MUMMY!" reluctantly she obliged throwing her hands up and opening her eyes. She enjoyed the rushing sight and mostly Luci's laughter.
Yamada pulled them up at the north point of the wall. He took heavy breaths with sweat running down his brow. "One more time?" He asked with a smile. Luci nodded eagerly. He looked to Aurelia catching her breath. "Maybe we could do something that isn't so tiring maybe?" Yamada looked up to the castle wall. "Oh I have an idea." "Oh no." Aurelia groaned. He leapt atop the wall and begun to the swing them over the wall. "W-H-Y-" Aurelia's voice cut out with each apex of the spin. She and Aurelia screamed in delight after getting use to the spin. He lowered and raised them on the spin giving more and less slack. With the sun setting he brought them back in and sat down covered in sweat. Aurelia took a minute to catch her breath with Luci dancing around him. "Did you have fun?" Yamada asked. Luci nodded. "THAT WAS THE MOST FUN EVER!"She cheered. "And did you get that air you wanted?" Aurelia patted her hair down and giggled. "I did. I very much did. Come we should get going. The sun is setting. I know you want to keep-" "Okay!" Luci happily obliged.
Aurelia looked at confused. "Are...are you sure?" "Mmhmm! We can have more fun tomorrow. Right Yam-Yam?" "You bet." Yamada said raising his fist. The two touched knuckles. "Okay then, let's go home then, and get some dinner." With the sun disappearing at the lanterns emerging. Luci slept in Aurelia's arms. "I can't remember the last time, she slept in my arms." She said softly. Yamada stopped at the front gates setting the barrel down. A commander rushed to Yamada raising a spear at him. "You are the simpleton who put their lives in danger and-" "Lower your voice." She growled in Elvish. "Wake my daughter, and you will be one of the many bastards sent to attack the Citadel." He gulped. "This man serves a higher position to you. Lower your weapon before I have him kill you." "But he-" "Now bastard." She hissed. He lowered his weapon. "Yamaxon, please come with me." "Are you sure?" "Yes, don't worry about this idiot. He will be reprimanded for his behaviour later."
Aurelia laid Luci on the bed closing the door behind her. She snapped her fingers and giant earthen walls blocked the room. "You know I can cut those down right?" Yamada asked. "I doubt many people in this kingdom could stop you, but I simply want to talk to you in peace without anyone eavesdropping. Please sit." Yamada hesitantly took a seat, laying Harbinger across his lap. "Yamaxon isn't your real name is it?" "I-Yes it is." He stammered.
"Your mother is not Gwyneth Lockhart, and your father is not Hendrik Xenarith." "They are! I look like him." She shook her head, sliding a bounty notice onto the table between them. "This. This is you. You're Yamada Ken, and your friends are Ul'lanna the traitor and Jacara the master of none." He gulped tightening his grip on the hilt. "I'm not a threat. I just want to understand you. Why are you here in this kingdom?" "I am looking for them...we want to stop this war. We want to save the people we love." "How were you going to do that?" "I don't know. They come up with the plans, I do the punchy swingy stuff." "That's..." She nodded accepting his answer. "That makes sense." "Is there anything else you want to know. Because I think I should leave..." "Are you actually a Forsaken Knight?" Yamada summoned his armour for a second before banishing it. "And your affinity. It is water?" Yamada created a small gate.
"Remarkable...could you answer one last question for me?" "S...sure..." "Why are you not killing us?" Yamada looked at her puzzled. "Why would I do that?" She awkwardly scratched the back of her head. "Because of you know...the attack on your home? Wait were you too young to remember it?" "Oh I definitely remember it, but I only want to kill one Elf. I don't care about the rest." "Just one?" Yamada nodded. "What...what did he do?" "He cut my father's head off with something not sharp but thin. That's what the mages and knights told me." "Oh..." "Then he killed my mother in front of me." "How old where you when this all happened?" Yamada looked away thinking back. "Five-ish?" Aurelia gulped. "When this Elf did that...what did you do next?" "I tried to punch him but he broke both my hands, and told me that only the strong get to kill him." Aurelia's heart shattered. "Then he threw me into the ground."
"What happened next?" Aurelia asked hiding her tears. "I woke up with almost every bone in my body broken." He let out a melancholic chuckle. "It hurt so much, I thought it was a nightmare, but I just couldn't wake up." Aurelia's eyes welled up with water. "I found my mum's body rotting away where he left her. Then my dad's body under some rocks. They couldn't find his head." Aurelia wiped her eyes turning away. "Don't feel sorry for me. I'll make sure Begron Argul dies." She froze clenching her fists. "Could...could you ever forgive him?" Yamada leant forward his eyes turning amber and slit. "If I ripped Luci in half, after you begged me not to. Could you forgive me?" Aurelia said nothing. "Because I begged for hers. We all begged that night for a life. I know you all treat him as a hero, and he has so many children." "What happens if you can't kill him? What if he's dead already?" "Then I'll kill everything else he loves. Till we're even."
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry for everything that happened to you. Please don't tell Luci what we talked about tonight. It will break her heart" "Wait...you want me to stay? After all of this?" "I will keep your secret. I will also help you end this war. For my daughter's sake." "How can I trust you?" "You can't, but I only ask that you keep making my daughter laugh and smile. I've never heard her laugh like that before." "Your husband-" "Do not worry about him. I will deal with him. Keep us safe and let us enjoy our time here, while we figure out a way to stop this war once and for all." "I think I should still leave." "Yes...that will be for the best. I will have someone find you suitable lodging." Yamada stood up. "Yamada...did you become a Forsaken Knight for the sole purpose of killing Begron?" "I did." "What happens after you kill him?" "I'll go and die somewhere quiet and peaceful. Somewhere, were I can't hurt anyone else ever again." "I hope...I hope that it doesn't come to that. I don't think Luci could handle losing someone like you." "She'll find other friends." Yamada said breaking his way out.
Zi'lara and Alexandra stood behind Bi'ranna. "This is a terrible idea. You really think someone that dedicated to training himself. That he could rip that thing out, without any problems is going to want to have sex?" Zi'lara said. "He's not that strong." Alexandra sulked. "Both of you shut it. I'm going to ask him bluntly. If he says no, I move on." Yamada walked out the gate seeing the three of them stand outside. "Um...hello?" "Would you like to have sex with me?" Bi'ranna said boldly her face turning red. "Holy crap she actually asked it." Zi'lara muttered. Yamada shrugged. "Sure. Can I sleep where you sleep as well? I don't feel like sleeping on rocks anymore." Bi'ranna leapt into the air letting out a whoop. "You have got to be kidding me!" Zi'lara groaned.
