Kenpachi heaved drenched in sweat, trying to desperately to catch his breath, with Ul'lanna resting her back onto his chest. "That...was...amazing...was it...good...for...-" "Oooh, it was great for me." Ul'lanna said, reaching behind her to stroke his face. "Can you tell Ichibae, I did more chore? I have to go kill someone." She muttered through her teeth. Kenpachi nodded, in a euphoric daze. Ul'lanna leapt out of the hot spring, dressing herself, and stomping out as she ground her teeth. She marched off in a huff, a rising steam came from her clothes, with plumes of fire pulsating out with each step. She witnessed Karina's lightning bolt streak across the sky. "Stay right where you are Yamada." She growled.
Jacara sat across from Princess Yan, still silently reading her book. He stared down at his page of names, completely and utterly bored and miserable. "How's your book?" She asked. "Oh, it's great. I'm about to start the names that start with 'K and E' in them." He said forcing a smile. "Tell me if you find anything interesting." "Oh, I will..." He said, with his forced smiling disappearing. "Stupid book, better help me have sex." He muttered. "What was that?" "Nothing! Just reading out loud." He chuckled. "Try to read quietly Prince, I don't want you to spoil it for me." She smiled returning to her book. Jacara shook his head confused at her. 'What interesting thing, could I possibly find in a book of name-....s' His thoughts came to a screeching halt.
A page had been torn out. Someone with the Ken name had been removed. A page before Yamada's mother. He stood up. "Princess Yan. Does anyone else come to this library?" "Only my father. Everyone else does not appreciate our literature." "Would he tear out a page?" "Why would anyone damage a log book?" "The same reason, why history is written by the victors, to hide the truth." He handed her the book, showing the torn ends. "Oh, no! Prince, how will we find out the truth now?" "By asking your father. Come on let's go." He took her by the hand. His mind raced with a single lesson from Urkse. 'Anyone willing to erase their history, can never be trusted.'
Jacara and Yan barged into the castle's war room. He glanced the area, scanning everything he possibly could. The updated map, the pieces representing each armies soldiers, and the smell of a burning chemical lingering in the air. "Yan! You are not allowed in here!" Zhing scolded. "Nor are you prince." Ichibae growled. "Father, why is this page torn out?" She said handing him the book. Jacara could see the unease, through their relaxed postures and expressions. They knew who was on the page. "Princess Yan. I was there when this page was written. The scribe accidentally spilled ink over the page, and to avoid having a messy page. We tore it out." Ichibae chuckled, reaching for the book. Jacara snatched it from him. "I'd believe you, if the scrawl markings, underneath didn't say another name." "What are you talking abou-" "Hakai Ken."
Jacara felt a change in the air. The same sensation he felt, when Yamada became enraged. The looming sense of danger and death lurking. "There is no one by that name." Zhing said calmly. "Yan, go to your room, at once." He ordered. She nervously gulped, stepping back. Jacara took her wrist. "Afraid to tell your daughter the truth? Who is Hakai Ken?" Ichibae approached Jacara, his eyes flickering amber. "The princess is tired. Let her go, to her room." He growled softly. Jacara held his grip firm, the shiver ran down his spine, and his skin bumped. However this wasn't the first time, he had stared at a Draken. "Tell us, and we'll leave." Ichibae cocked back his arm. Jacara reached to summon a card.
The two of them came to a stop. Their muscles locked into position. Everyone in the room strained trying to move, even the act of breathing became impossible. "Now, now, Prince Cagim. One of the first things they teach you about diplomacy, is to not provoke your allies." The White cloaked man hissed, slowly walking into the room. The pungent aroma of death permeated the room. He snapped his fingers, and all of them fell to the ground gasping for air. "My apologies, Zhing. My magic has always lacked precision." He chuckled, squatting in front of Jacara. He placed his poisoned hand under Jacara's chin raising him up. "So much like your father. A spoiled brat, acting as a king, with none of the power." "Who the fuck are you?" He growled trying to move his body. He pricked Jacara's chin with his finger nail.
A black fluid raced along every vein through his body. Jacara screamed in agony, his wails filled the room, and tears streamed down his cheeks. The black fluid ran back into the man's finger nail. Jacara fell to the ground gasping, and convulsing, his body completely numb. "An old friend of your father." Jacara quickly fell unconscious, with Yan by his side. He approached Ichibae. "The Forsaken Knight, Elf and this little Prince are to remain alive and WELL in your care." He snapped, wrapping his black around Ichibae's throat. "Am I clear?" He nodded, gasping for air. He threw Ichibae aside, approaching Zhing. "Wh-wh-why are you back, so soon?" He choked slammed Zhing onto the table, the room filling with black a mist. "Keep your disgusting cock, away from her. Or next time, I'll cut it off and feed it to you. Am I clear?" He said calmly. "y-y-y-yyyeee-" He released Zhing, as his eyes glazed over.
He approached Yan, handing her the book, and gently patting her on the head. "Books are good for you. Keep reading." She trembled on the spot, feeling a trickle run down her leg. As he approached the door, Yan eked out a terrified question. "Wh-wh-who is Hakai Ken?" "Curiosity always did kill the cat." He chuckled. "I will tell you the truth, but it is up to you, whether or not you tell the Forsaken Knight. Know that if you tell him, that your kingdom will be destroyed, but if you don't. It will be spared. So little princess, let's see if you will tell the truth or hide it." Yan gulped. "Hakai Ken, is the most powerful Magic Knight in all of Jux, and he is responsible for the death of Osore Ken." She slumped further on to her knees, her heart racing as the man sauntered out the room.
Yamada winced opening his eyes slowly. Pain shot throughout his body. Karina looked down at him with a motherly scowl, her arms crossed. He tried to sit up, in her bed. She flicked his forehead, a tiny crackle of lightning shot out from her finger. "Ow!" He sunk down into his bed, clutching his forehead. "What was that for?" He said rubbing his stinging forehead. 'Why are you trying to die!?' She signed angrily. Yamada tried to sit up again. "I'm not trying to-" She flicked him back down under the blankets. He let out a yelp with the lightning, rolling under the sheets, and groaning through his teeth. He peeked his head out from the blankets, looking at her scowl. 'Stay in bed. No more training for you.' "But!-" She flicked his forehead once more. "Gyah!" Yamada squealed thrashing under the blankets. She took a seat by his side, crossing her legs and folding her arms.
Yamada hid under the sheets pouting. "I should be training. I need to become stronger." Karina pulled the sheets away from his eyes. 'What's the point of becoming stronger, if you get yourself killed?' "I'm not going to die..." 'You've been taken to the Blesseds here, three times in three days. Are you going to take one along to make sure you don't die?' "I might." He pouted. Karina flicked his ear. Yamada squealed curling into a ball, holding his tender ear. He spun around frowning at her. "Why does that hurt so much?" 'Go to sleep. I will bring your lunch.' "But I'm not tir-" Karina raised her flicking hand. Yamada ducked under the blankets closing his eyes. He peeked out, seeing her close the door behind her. Yamada quietly slipped out of the bed, tip-toeing to the door. He gently pushed the door open, to see Karina standing in front of him, her arms crossed and tapping her foot. Yamada smiled at her. She furrowed her brow, pointing at the bed. He dropped his head sulking back inside. "Forsaken Knight, I should be able to do what I want." He mumbled.
Karina returned a few minutes later holding a tray of food. She gently opened the door with her foot, seeing Yamada hunched over a desk. He held a quilt in his hand like a dagger, stabbing lightly across the paper. Karina snuck up closer, seeing him in complete concentration, his tongue sticking out to the side. She smiled quietly standing over him, as he wrote. She frowned seeing his horrendous penmanship. A child could do better than that. 'To my second Wyn. I am safe.' She cocked both her eyebrows at that lie. 'I'll be stopping your war soon. So please wait for me. I hope to see you again, and when it is all over, bring you to Yamata.' He sat back, admiring his letter. Karina wrapped herself behind Yamada, pushing him forward, and pointed at Wyn. His eyes bulged wide open, feeling her chest on his back, and his letter was exposed. He tried to snatch the letter way. Karina snatched it first, flicking him on the forehead. He reeled back, clutching his forehead.
"Give that back to me." She playfully shook her head, tucking his letter behind her back. 'Who's Wyn?' She asked with a sly smile. "Someone important to me." He blushed. 'She must be beautiful.' "Yes she is the most beautiful woman, I've ever seen." Karina started to act coy, pushing her chest together. 'Is she prettier than me?' She signed biting her lower lip. Yamada went bright red. "I-" The door swung wide open with an enraged shout. Ul'lanna stepped through, scowling at Yamada. "YOU!" She screamed, plumes of fire seeping out. "What did I do?" She stomped over to him, pinning Yamada to the ground. "YOU RUINED SEX FOR ME!" Karina was taken by surprise. "I!...Wait what?" She violently shook Yamada, continuing to stare at her completely confused. "YOU RUINED SEX FOR ME!" "I heard you the first time. I want to know how?"
"Because not even that beautiful muscle bound man Kenpachi, does anything for me anymore." She growled. Karina covered her gasp. 'Kenpachi, you dog.' She smiled. "I'm still confused." Ul'lanna looked up to Karina. "Don't have sex with him. No man will ever be as good." "Ul'lanna!" He exclaimed going bright red. Karina looked at him intrigued. "Now, I'll forever walk this world unsatisfied!" She yelled throwing her hands into the air. Yamada sat up, dusting himself off. "Maybe he just needs another chance?" "I gave him plenty. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go throw myself off this kingdom." Karina jogged after Ul'lanna stopping her. She placed both her hands onto Ul'lanna's face, gently caressing her skin. "Uhhh...Yamada...What is she doing?" He cocked his head to the side. "I don't know, but I can't look away." He said enthralled.
A Lightning gate appeared beneath her feet. A single bolt of lightning travelled through Ul'lanna, her eyes glazed over, foaming at the mouth, her body convulsing, before collapsing into Karina. She gently dragged the dazed and euphoric Ul'lanna to the corner. "What did you do to her?" She placed a finger to her lips, approaching Yamada, pulling her Kāṣāya free. Yamada felt his face go on fire. She approached him a sly smile, before leaning into him, and planting a kiss on his trembling lips.
Jacara slowly awoke on the softest thing he had felt in months. Warm under a thick and cosy quilt. A wonderful fragrance permeated the air, filling him with levity. He sat up slowly, seeing Yan trembling at the table, reading the book of K to S. He panned around the elegant ornate room of marble and polished wood. "Am I in your room?" "You're awake!" She cheered leaping onto him. "Are you okay?" "I'm more than okay!" She said with a crazed smile. He reeled back terrified, feeling her nails dig into his skin, her entire body trembling. "Are you sure?" "Yes! I have never been happier than I am now. That was the most exhilarating thing, I've ever felt. The rush, the excitement, the danger." She said rubbing her face. "The way you stood up to Ichibae and my father, was so fucking erotic!" Jacara remembered another important lesson that Urkse had imparted onto him. 'Never fuck a crazy woman, no matter what. Because if you hurt her, she'll ruin as many lives as it takes, to ruin yours.' And threw it out the window, pulling Yan in for a kiss.
Night fell and Jacara snuck out, getting dressed and stealing the book. He wore a smug smile across his face, seeing the satisfied Yan, and left with a skip to his step. Jacara made his way to the dining hall, unable to find Yamada or Ul'lanna. "If you're looking for your friends. They're with Karina." Xia said eating her meal. "Thank you maiden." "What's gotten into you?" "Oh nothing." He said coyly. "More like what I've gotten into." He muttered with a smug smile. "What was that?" "Nothing!" He sprinted off, finding a singular light, in Karina's room. "YAMADA!" A woman's voice screamed out in ecstasy and delight. Jacara kicked the door open, smacking Ul'lanna in the face. "ARGH!" She screamed clutching her face. Jacara rushed inside. "Ul'lanna? What are you doing here?" "I don't know!? Who kicks open a door!?" "Wait...that wasn't you screaming out Yamada's name?"
"What? I just woke up." She said pinching her bloody nose. "Then...who called his name out?" "I don't know..." She trailed off seeing Yamada holding his Kāṣāya over his lap. "What are you two doing here!?" He hissed. "What are you doing?" Jacara hissed. "Are you sleeping with another woman, in Karina's bedroom? That's despicable even by my standards." "What? I was with Karina." Jacara shook his head. "I heard a woman call your name out?" "That was her." "Yamada, come on. She's a mute." "Magical cock." Ul'lanna said. "He doesn't have a magical cock. I've told you, he's just stealing Arcane energy. Now who did you sleep with? One of the cooks?" "It was Karina." "And I told you, that I don't believe you." "Yamada." A gentle voice called out. Jacara and Ul'lanna snapped to Karina, crawling towards them, wearing a euphoric smile, before falling asleep. "I'll be damned, you have a magical cock."
"Will you two leave? This is a very uncomfortable for me." "What no, I have something to tell you two. Create a bubble so they can't hear us." Yamada summoned a water bubble over them. "What is it?" Ul'lanna asked. "Because I need to ask Karina to do something for me again." "This." Jacara said flipping to the page of Osore. "That's my mum." "I know that. I meant this." He said showing the torn pages. "Someone erased a member of your family. Do you know of anyone named Hakai Ken?" Yamada cocked an eyebrow. "Destruction?" He shook his head. "Never heard of him." "That's what his name means?" Jacara asked. "What does your mother's mean?" Ul'lanna asked. "Fear." "Well, going by your naming pattern. Hakai, might be your grandfather or uncle, or something." Yamada stroked his chin. "No one ever mentioned him on Yamata. Not even Kapuna. Maybe he died?" "They went to great lengths to keep him a secret."
Yamada shrugged. "Does it matter?" "You aren't the least bit curious, to know more about your family? Until a few days ago, you didn't even know your mother was a great warrior." "They're dead." He snapped. "What does learning anything about them do for me? Does it make me stronger? Will it help me kill Begron? Will it help me stop the war? No. It won't do anything. So I don't care for it. If you want to search my past go for it. I'll avenge both our mothers, by myself." He said banishing the bubble. "Yamada." Ul'lanna said. "Hey, we're in this together. I don't want you two dying. Even though you two sometimes drive me insane. Just remember that, you both want the same thing. The two of them begrudgingly nodded at each other. "Now what is this book?" Ul'lanan said rifling through the pages. "It's a log of all their citizens." "Huh, Karina's family name is Sepharae." "That name sounds so familiar." Jacara broke out into a loud cackle. "What is it?" They asked. "LYN!" "Lyn? Is that supposed to mean something to us?"
Ul'lanna looked at Yamada's stunned expression, filled with fear and dread. Jacara fell to the ground clutching his belly, tears streaming down his cheek. "Yamada...what does that name mean?" "Gr-Gr-Gra-Gran-Grand Knig-" Ul'lanna's eyes widened with realization, and started to laugh with Jacara. "You...Oooooh my..." "No, both of you shut up. We will never speak of this." The two of them begun to laugh harder and harder. "Hey, listen to me we can't speak of this. If Lyn finds out that I slept with her..." Yamada snatched the book out of Jacara's hand. He flipped to Karina's page. "That does say Lyn is her daughter right?" "Yes, you motherfucker!" Jacara shouted, clutching his sore belly. Yamada sprinted over to Karina, shaking her awake from her stupor. She caressed his face. "Yamada." She said softly. "The daughter you lost. Is her name Lyn?" Her smile faded and she nodded glumly. "She's not gone. She's a Grand Knight living at the Citadel! She's alive!" "WHAT!" Karina screamed.
