Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Forewarning

As I continued examining my bounty poster the others came over and joined me in doing so.

"So, you have a bounty now." Atalanta mused.

"Nice work Achilles." Wave said.

"Wait, when did they even take the picture for your bounty poster?" Kuroh questioned.

"Oh Kuroh, you should never underestimate the world's biggest stalkers." I said.

Since that's exactly what the marines and world government are.

Stalkers.

They go around sticking their noses into every ones business.

Yet when it comes to them they can't handle it.

Like most hypocrites.

"Stalkers?" Kuroh questioned. "Who?"

"The world government and the marines who are their bitches of course." I said.

Getting strange looks from my crewmates.

Which I ignored.

"Okay." Kuroh said, a wry smile on his face.

"Right, so while finding out I now have a bounty has made me happy let's get back to what we were doing. Me teaching you all about the Rokushiki I currently know how to perform." I spoke.

The others nodding at my words.

After they did I put my bounty poster and the newspaper to the side and then we returned to the training.

But once we were done I went ahead and put my bounty poster up in my room.

To commemorate the event.

Got to remember the best things after all.

--------------------------------------------------------

Standing at the front of the Argo I leaned against the railing and stared at me and the crews upcoming destination.

Flevance.

The place known as 'The White City' as well as the homeland of one of my top five favorite male One Piece characters, Trafalgar D. Water Law.

With the other four being Jimbe, Luffy, Book, and finally Sogeking.

As for my top five favorite female Once Piece characters they are Nico Robin, Boa Hancock, Monet, Charlotte Smoothie, and finally Yamato.

But back to my main point.

Looking at Flevance I couldn't help but marvel at the countries beauty. I also got a small sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach since I knew what was going to happen to this country and its people in less than a decade.

One of the few burdens of foreknowledge.

Even if I have never met anyone from Flevance before.

Hence why I have decided to pay a visit to Flevance.

To shake up the future a bit, or at least try too.

(3rd Person: POV)

Humming a happy tune to himself Dr. Trafalgar headed home after a long day at work.

Greetings his neighbors and friends, some of whom were also his patients, as he did.

Soon the good doctor arrived home.

Taking out his key he unlocked his front door and headed inside, closing the door behind him and locking it. "Everyone, I'm home." He spoke, stepping into the family room.

But immediately after Dr. Trafalgar did this he stopped in his tracks.

For he saw an unknown young man sitting on one of the couches in the family room, sipping from a cup of tea in his hands, while his children Law and Lami eyed the young man with curiosity.

The young man in question being Achilles.

Looking to his wife for answers, since she was seated on the opposite couch from Achilles, the doctor saw had a relaxed expression on her face.

Noticing her husband she turned her head in his direction ."Oh honey, welcome home. Did you have a good day at work?"

"Yes, I did." Dr. Trafalgar replied. He then turned his gaze to Achilles "So, it looks like we have a guest."

"It's me Dr. Trafalgar, Achilles. Are you saying you don't remember?" Achilles asked. "Well I don't blame you if you can't. I mean you treated me so long ago and with all the patients you must have its understandable your memory might get a bit jumbled up." He spoke.

Achilles then took another sip from his cup.

Since it was really good tea.

"Ah yes, Achilles. Now I remember." Dr. Trafalgar said. Lying through his teeth perfectly.

He didn't know Achilles in the slightest. But he decided to play along for the sake of his family. For the doctor had no idea what the young man in front of him was capable of, and he wasn't about to risk the well-being of those he loved more than anything in finding out.

"So, what brings you here?"

"I came to get those results for the tests you put me through during my last checkup." Achilles said.

"Right, right. I have them in my office, if you'll be just follow me." Dr. Trafalgar spoke.

"But dad, why are you going to give a patient their medical test results here at the house? I thought you only did that at your office." Law spoke up.

"Well young man your dad made a special exception for me because I'm about to head back out to sea and I need to see those results before I do." Achilles spoke to Law.

"Out to sea, so you are a marine?" Lami asked.

"No, I'm not." Achilles replied. "But my work does require me to travel all over the place just like they do." He spoke.

"Lami, Law, that's enough." Their mother told them.

"No, no, it's fine Ms. Trafalgar. I can understand their curiosity and if I was in their position I would act the same way." Achilles said.

He then finished off the tea he was drinking and placed the cup down on the saucer, situated on the table in front of him.

After Achilles did this he stood up. "It was very nice to meet you all." He said to the Trafalgar family.

He then moved to the side of Dr. Trafalagar, who then led Achilles to his home office.

Arriving both men entered it, and when they did the doctor locked the door and then gave Achilles a pointed look.

"Okay enough with the crap, who are you and what are you doing in my home?" Dr. Trafalgar asked.

But Achilles ignored his question.

Instead he walked over to Dr. Trafalgar''s home office desk and took a seat in the chair behind it. He then gave the doctor his full attention.

"Tell me doctor, when giving your patients medical checkups lately have you noticed a buildup of a toxin in their bodies, one you cannot identify?" Achilles asked.

Making Dr. Trafalgar's eyes widen in shock.

"You, how do you know that?" The doctor asked. Since he hadn't yet shared those finding with anyone.

"I know, because I know what the cause of the buildup of that toxin is. The Amber Lead." Achilles spoke.

"The Amber Lead?" Dr. Trafalgar questioned.

"Yes, the Amber Lead. The lifeblood of Flevance. The material that has given this country its fame and prosperity. It is slowly killing its people. Even you and your family Dr. Trafalgar." Achilles spoke. Looking the doctor in his eyes as he did.

"I don't...again, how do know this and just who are you?" Dr. Trafalgar asked Achilles once more.

"As I told you earlier my name is Achilles. And as to how I know what I know I can't tell you. But it's true, and if you take some time to examine what I have just told you you will learn that I am not lying to do Dr. Trafalgar." Achilles spoke. "Amber Lead has turned this entire country into a living cemetery filled with walking corpses. That is of course unless someone finds a cure. Which is why I am telling you this doctor. For I believe you can be the man that finds that cure." He explained.

"This is...No, I can't. The World Government-"

"-No." Achilles spoke, interrupting Dr. Trafalgar. A deadly serious expression on his face.

Seeing this the doctor shut his mouth immediately.

"Listen to me very carefully Dr. Trafalgar. You cannot, and I mean under any circumstances inform anyone from the government, whether in this country or the World Government about what I have just told you. For if you do I know for certain that Flevance and all of its inhabitants will be killed." Achilles explained.

"No, the government would never." Dr. Trafalgar spoke.

"Yes, they would." Achilles said. "The World Government pulls that sort of thing all of the time. You've just never heard about it, or you have and its just been made to look like something else. A pirate attacking a country and destroying it, a civil war breaking out leaving both sides dead. I could go on but I would rather not like to keep staring into that particular abyss. The point is Dr. Trafalgar you must investigate a cure for the Amber Lead poisoning on your own, or with the assistance of people you absolutely trust. Because if you don't the consequences as I have just explained them to you will occur."

"I..I don't know what to say." Dr. Trafalgar spoke.

No need to say anything doctor. For I already know what you will do." Achilles said. Putting a smirk on his face that unnerved Dr. Trafalgar.

"Well it's time for me to take my leave. It was nice meeting with you doctor, and your family. Take care of them." Achilles spoke.

He then stood up from the chair he was sitting in and headed for the door to Dr. Trafalgar's office.

Reaching it he unlocked the door and then left the office, leaving the doctor alone to process what he had just told him.

Which Achilles hoped was enough to help alter the fate of Law's homeland and the course of his life.

But if it wasn't at least he know he tried.

That counted for something to Achilles.

Plus now he has met the future 'Surgeon of Death' early and established a small connection with him.

A connection Achilles would use if he needed to in the future.

Since having a person who could perform miracle surgeries owing you a favor is not a chance anyone would pass up.
