Mia was working on some sales alone in her room. She refused to head to work and stayed in the house for better safety and awareness due to the fact that she noticed a creepy stalker tailing her all the time, every single day. "Ugh, I am going to die with this stupid migraine!"
In view of the fact that she had to work with headache, upset the young woman for failing to catch focus every minute. She squeezed her eyes when she could not take the agony no more. In hurry, she stood up with fingers pressing on her temples. Squinting eyes in pain.
The body required pills to soothe the migraine, otherwise, she might end up dying. Without any other choices, Mia walked out of the room. Directing to the cupboard where all kinds of pills were kept up. At that time, the door bell rang. Ringing as if the person was impatient.
"Gosh, why isn't anyone reacting to the doorbell?!" An irritated mumble escaped between the young woman's lips over the situation. No one came up to open the gate for the person outside, not even one. "Ugh!" In the end, Mia went out and checked the doorbell camera on wall.
"Who is it?"
She asked. Not opening the gate right away. The person on the other side was wearing a suit and a masquerade mask as if he was about to attend royal ball. It was hard to recognize in view of the fact that the man had dark hair color. "Um, can you speak? Are you lost or some?"
A frown displayed across the young woman's face. Confusion tugged at her expression. For nearly a minute, no words came up. The man stood there with a single rose in his grasp. "Excuse me! Stop disturbing someone's day! Go prank others if you want to! Not me!"
The frustrated shout echoed.
Mia turned to head back inside, until the man voiced under another doorbell ring. "Mia, it is me, Dean Silas" A soft tone which the young woman could recognize in an instant flew from the doorbell camera. "Dean?" Without any hesitation, Mia unlocked the gate with a smile.
Making sure she did not scare the man away with her frightening annoyed face. "Hey!" Mia went in for an embrace as the man hugged her tightly. "I thought you were some men trying to pull a prank. What happened to your hair color?" Mia threw a question in puzzlement.
"Just to surprise you"
Dean expressed a beam but still held the young woman firmly between his arms. "Oh, well, great one" Mia let out a light giggle through awkwardness. Her mind fell into chaos with the tight embrace the man was giving. Why? Why was he behaving as if he was going to leave?
The perplexity doubled. "Sorry. Please understand my intention" And the next sentence came up. "Huh? What do you mean by that?" As soon as Mia replied in concern, the man lifted her up on his shoulder to take into his car, he brought. "Wait! Dean! What are you doing?!"
With widened eyes, the young woman yelled. "Dean! What is this?!" The man locked the car doors and took the mask off. "We are going to get married" A grin spread across Dean's face as Mia's entire body froze. The horror reflected. Now her hands began to quiver in fear.
The realization had hit her like a truck. Why didn't she think Dean as suspect as well?! He could be a stalker too! "Dean, I have no clue what you mean but let's stop this. Unlock the car door. I have piles of works to complete at home" First thing first, she persuaded him.
Her migraine became worse in stress.
Rather than yelling at him with faults to point out, she pretended she was not panicking. "Don't worry. You won't have to work anymore when I have lots of money for you to use" Dean replied and drove away from the villa. Stunning the young woman wholly. "Dean Silas!"
As last, she yelped his name. Leading him to speed the car up. "We are not going to be separated, Mia. Not even that so called bodyguard of yours can. We can now live happily ever after" Dean stated beneath satisfied grin. Scaring the young woman. He was the stalker!
"Were you the man who sent me.."
Mia lowered her tone before ending the sentence. Hoping for the man to deny inside deep down. Yet, Dean nodded to her uncompleted query. "Yes! I sent all the love letters to you! I have been trying to keep you safe by observing closely!" The thrill echoed in the man's tone.
And it was the moment the young woman felt as if her life was ruined. Observing closely? Stalking he must have meant. But come on. Who would have anticipated this shy man to do such horrible things?! She never saw it coming due to the blindness over purity.
"Dean, be a good guy and send me back to home right now" In vexation, Mia pressed the words. Only to exasperate the man. "Shut up!" His tone conquered the car. Startling the young woman totally so that she flinched so hard. A smile once again tugged at Dean's lips.
"Mia, can't you see what I am doing this for our bright future?" The slight frown on his face, terrified Mia. Why the heck was he acting like a psychopath?! "Dean, I don't feel good now. Let's talk about this later. Please send me back to home" The young woman pleaded.
However, the man ignored her.
Continuing to drive to wherever he wished. "Dean Silas! I am going to get the police involved if you do not stop the car!" Mia raised her tone to make it sound dominant and frustrated. The man's eyes lifted over the words finally. Focusing onto the rear view mirror.
And he connected the eye contact with the young woman. She was sweating. Her eyes are squinting to view the area clearly. If you looked closely, she had tears swelling up in the corner of her eyes. It was an obvious sign to see she was horrified over the situation.
A sigh then escaped between Dean's lips as the car parked at the side of the road. "Good choice you made. Now unlock the door" Mia inhaled deeply. The relief flowing through her blood. Thankfully this man listened. She thought he would do much more worse for bringing police in.
"All right" Dean went out of the car after unlocking the door. But when the young woman was about to leave as well, the man came to open the door for her in hurry. Causing her to furrow brows. He appeared harmful no matter what. "You made me do this, Mia. Don't blame"
All of the sudden, Dean pressed the handkerchief on Mia's nose as she went out of the car. She really believed she would get the chance to return and yet, this man had other plans to do. "I am so sorry, Mia" Dean murmured with his arm wrapped around Mia's waist.
He laid her at the back seat.
The two then headed to the house of the man. Dean carried the young woman onto his bed once they reached. The unconscious Mia had no clue how bad the situation had gotten. About two hours later, the young woman gained consciousness, finding herself on bed.
"Oh god!" In an instant, Mia sat up on the bed. "Where am I?!" Glancing around the area, the young woman found herself being lost in the unknown house she had never been to before. "I better get out of here" Beneath a mutter, she jumped out of the bed. Opening the door to leave.
"Mia! Are you awake?"
The first person Mia encountered was the man who kidnapped her. Shit. Shit. Shit. The young woman gritted teeth in exasperation over the situation. Why did he have to arrive at the door on time?! "Dean, where are we?" She asked, taking a step back from getting closer to him.
"Our house" A smile tugged at the man's lips. The way he seemed exhilarated was frightening for the young woman. "Dean, we should stop this and return. I do not like this idea of living together" Mia stated. Her fists trembled in horror while the brain processed on how to escape.
"But we are going to marry soon. Married couple always live together" Dean pointed out loud. He wished to stick by the young woman's side. Howbeit, Mia discovered it creepy and disturbing. "No. We are not getting married" The young woman pushed Dean out of the door.
Thankfully, he was not prepared for the attack, leading Mia to be able to rush out of there instantly. "The door. The door" Running down the stairs, Mia looked up to find the door. At the same time, Dean chased her. "Stop right there, Mia! Or else I might end up hurting you!"
His shout sent chills down to her spine. Her foot missed one step on stairs due to the fact that she was dashing in fear. And the next moment she knew was her body laying on the ground after tripping down on the stairs. "Fuck..." A murmur came up from her before she passed out .
There was no escape now.
She was trapped!
