Stephanie has a quite long meeting with the Korean counterpart, trying to assure them the thing that happened to Matsumoto Corp won't happen again in the future during the project. After that, she made a quick call with the Japanese and promised to address the problem with the American consortium. Time shows it almost noon, when she ended the video call and went to the balcony. She took her phone and quickly messaged Nathan to come to her room. She was smoking on the balcony when she heard someone knock on the door. She knew who on the other side. When she opened the door, she smiled. Nathan walked in and when she closed the door, he quickly asked her.
"Why? Why did you ask for the list?"
"I want to know the guy at the end of the left side of the table!"
"You have an eye for him?"
"Come on, tell me!"
Nathan opened the folder he brought and quickly said, "He is Lucas Miller, CEO of Mile Enterprise."
"Mile Enterprise?"
"Yes, you hear me right babe! He is Martin's competitor in the business."
"You better think twice if you don't want to make Martin upset!" Nathan added
Stephanie suddenly laughed, "Hahahahaha….Fate!"
"I'm screwed!" she smile widely
"What?"
"He is the guy from the club!"
"Fuck no!" Nathan showed his disbelief
"Yep!"
"But, you are fine now! I mean, we know that Martin found out you had ONS, but it seems he doesn't know it was him, right?"
"Just pretend the two of you don't know each other! Problem solved!" Nathan added
"I had sex with him this morning!" Stephanie eyes continue look ahead
"Steph, what? This is not like you!" Nathan couldn't hide his surprise face
"I know!" She turned to Nathan and smiled
"Martin crossed my mind and I was mad at him. I vented my anger by having sex with Luke," She explained
Nathan stayed silent, he was busy thinking about it, but Stephanie cut his thought
"Don't think too much! Let's go eat!" She said as she dragged his hand to walk out

In Chicago
"How's Stephanie?" Martin was on the phone, talking with Barbara
"Madam went to New York with Mr Xander, sir!" Barbara afraid to mention it
"Oh," He ended the call after that, quickly dialed Jacob's number
"Find out about Stephanie! I give you 10 minutes, then come to my office!" He said with a cold voice
In less than 10 minutes, Jacob knocked Martin's office door and walked in
"Mr Clark, madam's trip is the consortium trip, dealing with a new government project with the American consortium. She will be there for a week, their meeting started today and it didn't start well, madam was angry due to the issue of intimidation by the American counterpart. One of the Japanese parties pulled out from the project and madam has a long hard job to go dealing with the American consortium members, one by one." Jacob finished explaining
"Who did that?" Martin asked about the intimidation
"It was C Corporation. I found William Cruz, who was behind the problem." Jacob answered it shortly
"Stephanie knew about it?"
"Not yet, Mr Clark. Madam was busy meeting with her Korean and Japanese teams. However, I heard that madam warned all of them not to do it again."
"And?"
"It made them hate her more!" Jacob lowered his head, afraid if his word will make Martin angry
"Give a hard lesson for William! It will send a strong signal to others that they shouldn't play with Stephanie," Martin ordered Jacob
"And madam?"
"She doesn't need to know. Keep it clean!"
"Noted Mr Clark!" Jacob stepped back and about to leave, but Martin suddenly say,
"Jacob! Let's go to new York after the meeting," He said it as suddenly Stephanie cross his mind
Jacob nodded and left him.

"Done!" Nathan told Stephanie
"Wait, I got one more email left!" She focused on her laptop and in less than 5 minutes, closed it. She throws her body on the sofa.
Stephanie and Nathan finished working around 6 pm. It was a tiring day.
"Let's have dinner and get in the bar downstairs!"
"Yeah, sounds good! I don't want to go out too!" Nathan agreed immediately
Both of them took the lift to the restaurant on the 5th floor and had a nice dinner until 8 pm. After dinner, they took the lift to the 1st floor, heading to the hotel's bar. They sit on the comfortable sofa, ordering whiskey. Stephanie's phone suddenly rings, it was Martin.
"Hello" Her voice became cold, she still mad at him
"Baby, what are you doing?" Martin's voice seems cheerful
"At the bar, drinking with Nathan"
"Why did you call?" She added
"Can't I? I miss you! Don't you miss me too?" Martin teased her
"I miss you. Miss you so bad but...you…" She wants to protest about him being in Chicago for Elena Ross, but she decided to keep it
Martin heard Stephanie went silent as he walked toward her with Jacob following him from behind.
"I...what?" He whispered to Stephanie's ear from behind
Stephanie turned her head and found Martin standing behind her. She immediately smiles widely and says, "Martin…."
Martin smiled at her as his hand pulled her to his arms, hugged her and landed a kiss on her lips. She kissed him back and both of them shared passionate kisses. It took a while for Martin to release her lips.
"Why are you here?" Stephanie was curious
"I want to see my woman, can't I?" His words made Stephanie smiles brightly, making her looks more beautiful
"Nathan, it's okay right, you continue to drink your whiskey with Jacob?" Martin said in deep voice
"Sure! Go ahead," Nathan forced to smile
Martin quickly brings Stephanie to his arm and walks out from the bar, heading to her hotel room. Stephanie smiles happily when she and Martin are heading to the elevator, next to the receptionist. She didn't notice that there was a pair of eyes watching them closely. It was Luke. He felt like thunder hit him when he saw Stephanie smile happily on Martin's embrace...
