Alice POV
"Stupid! How could you forget about her?" I cursed myself as I walked back and forth on the sandy beach. If it wasn't for the sand and the sound of waves I wouldn't know that I am on the shore.
"Ouch!" Then I felt something prick my feet. I raised it and found a piece of shell sticking to the skin of my feet.
A tear escaped my eyes when I pulled out the shell. Though I am sure that the tear is not for the pain in my feet but something else.
God, I don't even have shoes. Or slippers.
I am in a strange place, in a stranger's clothes. I ran off without even thinking. I don't even know where I am and don't even realize that I do not have shoes.
My day started with a kiss and ended up like this. I didn't even know how I ended up here. I thought Alex lived in the city. And this place doesn't seem like a city to me.
