Alice POV
"Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow," I waved Jane goodbye as she exited the door of the coffee shop. I followed her so that I could lock the door.
I flip the signage from open to close. But when I was about to lock the door, I saw someone standing outside the shop looking in my direction.
It would give me the creeps knowing that someone is watching me outside my place if it wasn't for that man is a familiar stranger to me.
If I am thinking right, I should just lock the door and go inside the shop, go upstairs and sleep. But no, I guess I am not thinking right because as if I know what he is thinking, I opened the door to let him in.
As soon as he got inside, I closed the door and I guess I am still thinking right because I didn't lock it.
When I turned around, I found him walking towards his usual spot in the bookstore.
