"Did something happen?" Leo asked her from behind. He could already tell that something did when he noticed Diana's body stiffen.
But her reply made him frown.
"Nothing. Everything went well. It turns out that we suspected the wrong person." Diana replied without looking back at Leo as she continued to wash the dishes.
Leo went silent and she knew that he could see through her lies but she still refused to tell him.
It has been two days since Arthur pulled her out of her mission after finding no connection between the Harts and J's death threats. Mr. Hart spends a week at the hospital but they request that Diana continue taking care of the old man at home which she did, only for three days.
With Diana's help, they found out that the reason for Mr. Hart and his youngest son, William Hart's argument was a girl named Harriet, which William Hart managed to bewitch and convinced to sleep with him.
