The mountain has a lot of small villages spread across its pristine nature. But the most well-known is the village where Diana was born. The village was first noticed in the news when a huge part of the mountain slid off in one part of the village where the locals planted their crops.
There were a couple of people who died in that tragedy.
Then years later, a multinational hospitality company that owned a chain of hotels internationally announced that they are going to develop a hotel in the village that supports environmentally friendly and sustainable tourism.
Since then, the tourists who wanted to get close to nature seeking serenity outnumbered the number of locals that lived in the village.
And also because of that, the travel going to the village has become more trouble-free since that hotel provides transportation for the tourists and the locals as well.
