"Yeah," Elijah lied because he was having a hard time removing his shirt. And Diana seemed to notice that.
"Here, let me take care of that," Diana said and then he put the clothes and medicine kit on Sadie's bed. She went to the bathroom and took a scissor from the cabinet before she cut Elijah's shirt to make it easier to remove without hurting him.
"Thank you," Elijah said and then he frowned when he saw the reflection of his body in the mirror. He was black and blue.
Diana just smiled at him and offered him a towel to clean himself and then a spare shirt for him to change into before she walked out of the bathroom.
After Elijah had cleaned himself and changed clothes, he walked out of the bathroom and found Diana standing beside the bed of Sadie with a glass of water in one of her hands and a pill in her other hand.
