"I cannot believe they did this to you," Sadie pursed her lips as she cleaned Elijah's cuts and bruises on his face. She had expected that one of these days after she finally made her relationship with Elijah official, her friends, brother, and even her father would beat up Elijah. But it still made her pissed.
Elijah's face is full of bruises. There were cuts on his lips, in the corner of his brows, and on his jaw. Both of his eyes were swelling and he will surely have a black eye the next day. She is surprised that he could still manage to see. She wondered how he got into their house in the first place. His nose is broken but her mother, Diana, had already fixed it.
Aside from his face, Elijah's body is badly bruised. He also sustained another broken rib after his left rib just healed.
Sadie's heart ached just seeing Elijah's state. Was it really necessary? She asked herself. But then, her brother and Damien suffered the same fate.
