Elijah and Sadie chatted for a few more minutes until Elijah noticed that Sadie's jaw was trembling and when he looked down at Sadie's body, it was then he noticed that she was shivering but she was trying not to show it.
"You are shivering," Elijah pointed out.
Sadie sighed. "Yeah. I think I want to lie on the bed," She said. Her voice was even shivering.
Elijah instantly stood up and helped Sadie lie on her back. He placed the back of his hand on her forehead and frowned when she felt hotter than the last time he checked. He reached out for the digital thermometer that Diana placed on the bedside table and checked Sadie's temperature. The moment he saw it turned red and the numbers flashed, his frown deepened and he said, "Your fever is spiking up. When was the last time that you took your medicine?" He asked and then he walked around the bed toward the other side table.
