Sadie laughed and shrugged her shoulders. "You cannot blame me, I had never known that you can cook. I thought that all you know is to eat," Sadie was probably talking so much that she felt the hoarseness of her voice worsen and Elijah seemed to have noticed that.
"You should drink more water," Elijah said and then he stood up and walked toward the table beside Sadie's bed where a glass and a pitcher of water are placed.
Sadie watched Elijah's movements. "I know. Mom always reminds me of that. That was the second pitcher she brought up here since I woke up," she said.
"Good," Elijah said, and then he passed a glass of water to Sadie.
Sadie took it and then she drank all of it. Then she gave the glass back to Elijah and then watched as he walked back to the chair.
