Sadie turned her head to look at Elijah but found him focused ahead on the almost invisible path ahead of them. For a moment there she wondered what Elijah meant until she realized that he was not just apologizing about snapping at her which she doesn't actually mind because he was right. It was stupid of her to go on trail running even though she knew that it was going to rain.
But Elijah was also apologizing for everything he had done and said in the past few weeks.
Sadie looked at him with disbelief on her face. "Seriously?" Elijah chose to apologize…again, in their current situation.
