The following day, Sadie woke up almost at lunchtime. Fortunately, her best friends were there to help her with her hangover. They cooked chicken noodle soup and ginger tea and had it for lunch.
Nora and Megan eventually leave to continue their day off while Sadie takes a quick visit to the restaurant which she hasn't visited for three days now. Fortunately, she found her restaurant still running perfectly. Because she is not planning to go back to work…at least not yet. She plans to go home.
After making sure that Sadie's is running smoothly, Sadie drove home where she was expecting her mother to be at home. She is not going to work until the afternoon so when Sadie arrived home, she found her mother in the living room watching TV since it was drizzling outside. She didn't have to ask where her father was because she was certain that he had 'work' to do.
