Two nights later, Elijah found himself stealthily following a man who was carrying a suitcase in one hand and a flashlight in the other. The man was in his early 50s. Though it was dark, the light coming from the moon was enough to see his salt and pepper hair which was damp because of his sweat. Some strands even stick to his forehead which once in a while he was wiping off with his fingers making his hair messy.
Though he was wearing a suit in the hope to appear professional, it was messy as if he had been wearing that suit for a week. It was faded and crumpled. There were even loose threads in the hem of the sleeves. His dress shirt was crumpled and sticking to his skin because of the sweat. His tie was loosened and not tied properly.
The man looks like he has been walking in the desert for hours without water when in fact, it has only been half an hour and he was walking on a cold night.
