Buck and the crew chief stood up from their chair to face J who was standing behind them. They bowed their heads at her as if she was some royalty even though J had already told them millions of times not to do that because it makes her uncomfortable. But to Buck and the others, it was an old habit that was hard to let go of.
"Miss J," Buck and the crew chief both said at once while glancing once in a while behind their shoulders to check on Elijah. They were afraid that the moment they took their eyes away from the monitor, Elijah would do something stupid that could hurt him.
J sighed and shook her head. Her eyes were fixed on the computer screens. "Give me that," She said pointing at Buck's headphones and mic.
