Cole instantly went to protest. "Hey! Can't you see that I was just joking?" He said making both Nora and Rhys glare at him for making unnecessary noise. Cole just looked at them from behind and shrugged his shoulders. "What do you want me to do?" He asked Tim.
"Megan and her team were already outside," They heard Tim say, and as if on cue, they heard the telltale sounds of the police sirens that would alert any criminals in the vicinity and let them know that the police were coming.
They halted in their steps. "Yeah, we could hear that," Nora said, looking around as if searching for the source of the noise. They could already assume that the guards were now busy talking to the police outside so they would take that opportunity to steal the ring.
