Megan's kiss was soft and gentle compared to how Timothy always kisses her. But that doesn't mean it lacks emotions. In fact, it was full of it. The way she kisses him was enough to convey her love and gratitude toward the infuriating man who always has her back.

Timothy opened his mouth to say something but the tell-tale sound of the oven's alarm interrupted him.
Megan chuckled and detached herself from him to get the lasagna from the oven.
With a mitten in her hands, she placed the lasagna on the table while Timothy took out plates and utensils from the cupboard.
