Elijah drove out of the parking lot of Sadie's while once in a while glancing in Sadie's direction. He could feel that Sadie is burning with irritation towards him but he couldn't care less. He will not let her drive in her current state. What if she fell asleep while driving?
He wouldn't have it.
Timothy would definitely kill him. Not to mention what Leo would probably do to him if he found out that he let Sadie drive in her current state.
They had already driven a couple of minutes and were now on the highway of Naupaka. They were embraced with a comfortable silence, at least for Elijah but for Sadie, she is pissed.
Sadie just stared out of the window of Elijah's sports car. The images outside seemed to pass by so quickly that she was having a hard time focusing on them. But no matter how fast Elijah was driving on the outside, Sadie could barely feel it inside his car.
Inside the car, it was so quiet that she could barely feel the car jerk.
