Damien's face was peaceful as he slept. There is not a single or subtle frown on his forehead. He sleeps carelessly just like he did before. So Nora wouldn't have thought that he was carrying a huge secret with him years ago.
But when awake, Damien's eyes were playful if he wanted to but most of the time dark and brooding. His stare was always piercing as if he could read through one's soul by just merely looking.
Deciding that she had enough, Nora slowly and quietly removed herself from being entangled in Damien's body. She had already known that Damien is a heavy sleeper so she didn't have to worry about waking him up while trying to get up from the bed.
As much as Nora wanted to stay in the bed with him, Nora had someplace to go and a meeting to attend to and another minute in bed and she would definitely hear her phone ringing either from Cole, Nic, or her mother calling her.
