Nora finished her tea and immediately went to bed because fatigue is starting to remind her again of her exhausting two days. She temporarily forgot about her tiredness when she was with Sadie and Megan because those women could really do wonders in making her tiredness and problems disappear.
With Sadie and Megan, Nora was just an ordinary woman just like they were with her. But the truth is, they were not ordinary. They came from an extraordinary family, an extraordinary circle, and members of an extraordinary organization.
Nora pulled her blanket up to her chest and turned on her side away from the door to prepare to sleep. Leaving one of the lampshades on, sleep slowly took over her senses.
But just before the last bit of her consciousness slipped away from her, she felt the other side of the bed dip. She didn't even get the chance to move when she felt strong muscular arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer to a broad firm chest.
