Back in Megan's room, she asked for her brother's help so that she could be seated on a couch because she is getting sick of just being in the bed.
Megan had always wanted to get out of bed but since her stitches were still fresh, she cannot lift herself up yet. There is no one there to help her except for Timothy and there is no way she would ask for help from him.
Sadie had noticed ever since they came that Megan was not talking to her brother. She wondered if it had been like that ever since Megan woke up. So she asked, "You are not talking to him?"
"No," Came Megan's instant reply because she already knew what Sadie was talking about.
Sadie's eyes grew wide. "Are you nuts?" She thought that after what Timothy had done to save her and his peculiar actions around Megan, her friend would have at least talked to him. But it has been days now since Megan woke up and since then, Timothy never left her room. All the time, they never talked!
