Timothy knew that apart from Nora and Sadie, Megan is also close to Cole not because they have romantic affection for each other but because they enjoyed each other's company. They were both fearless. They were both adrenaline junkies except that Cole was sometimes crazy while Megan was the sane one.
Emily likes Cole to have Megan's company because at least, there would be someone to make sure that Cole will not kill himself accidentally.
"I told you, she is busy at work," Rhys' tone became icy. It was obvious that he didn't want to talk about his sister because it reminded him that he was worried about her. Megan may be older than him and more experienced but he cannot help but worry because he cares about her.
