The next morning, Camilla felt rejuvenated. It was as if she slept a whole month yet it was only a day and night. Still, it was enough for her body and mind's much-needed break. She packed up her things and then she went to the dock where Harold was already waiting for her.
"Good morning, Harold," Camilla greeted the old man with a smile.
"Good morning, Camilla. I hope you had the best day of your life yesterday," The old man's eyes crinkled as he smiled at her. There was something about Harold that could brighten someone's day.
Harold did not come from a well-off family. When he was younger, he had to work day and night so that his family would have a meal on the table for a day. He cannot stop to rest for a day because that would mean, no food for his family for a day.
He had rough years behind him but he still has a smile on his face as if he was the richest man in the world.
