"Don't you dare," Nic said, making her laugh. "What?" Camilla feigned innocence. She had heard about Nic's fondness for a certain coffee and pastry shop from their circle of friends and she just wanted to tease him.
"I swear Nora if you dare mess it up," Nic's demeanor suddenly changed and Camilla noticed it.
"Jeez, you are so defensive. I just said I want coffee and cakes," Camilla said, deciding not to tease him anymore. He is under too much pressure right now and doesn't want to add up in his frustration.
"What do you want?" Nic asked in an irritated tone.
"Dinner," Camilla quickly replied. Aside from wanting to see him because it had been weeks since she saw his twin, she wanted him to have a break from work and pressure. She knows that if she tells him to have a break, he will only say that he is busy, but if she says that she wants to have dinner with him, which will be considered as a break, he will definitely give it to her.
