It has been a whole week since Trixie accepted J's offer of moving in at Lodgepole Estate temporarily. During that week, she had already talked to Arthur about it and surprisingly, Arthur accepted it better than she thought.
Maybe, Lodgepole Estate is a really good place just like Diana claimed it to be for Arthur to allow her to move there without turning it into a big issue.
J had already prepared a place for her and Mason to stay there. Apparently, there is a small cottage in an orchard that she and Mason could use. It was close to the house of the keeper of the orchard so Trixie could have someone to go to if she needed help.
J also offered to find a teaching job for her or maybe something that she could do in the orchard or the horse farm but Trixie refused and said she wanted to find a job of her own. She doesn't want to seem like she is taking too much advantage of J's kindness and hospitality. She already provided her shelter and that was enough.
