J unconsciously sighed as she continued to mix the pancake batter. Her hands were busy but her eyes were staring at the forest in front of her. Their kitchen has a wide window so she has an uninterrupted view of the forest behind their house.
Jacob entered the kitchen just in time for him to hear J's sigh. He came behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "What was that about?" He asked then he moved her hair to the side so that he could kiss the skin on her neck.
"I haven't seen them for a while," J said, and then she poured the batter into the pan. She placed another pan on the other stove and reached for a spatula. "Can you please take out the bacon and eggs?" She asked.
Jacob kissed her neck one last time before he let go of her. That single touch of his lips on her skin is enough to give her tingles through her spine and a smile on her lips.
"Who?" Jacob asked as he took another spatula and started working on the eggs.
