"Mom," Stefan sounded as if he didn't want to talk about it. It only made Trixie feel uncomfortable.
"Well, I could see that he still has a long way to go," Trixie only said, and then she lowered her head to focus on her food.
"That is why I was telling him to start working on it," Trixie heard Julie say but she didn't see Julie glare at Stefan while the latter only rolled his eyes before he looked at her.
"Uhm...this is good, Mrs. Mayers," Trixie decided to change the subject and focus on her food because it was truly delicious. It was a salmon with a hard-boiled egg on top of olives, potatoes, beans, and lettuce.
"Oh, dear. Stop calling me Mrs. Mayers. Just Julie,"
"Of course, Julie," Trixie raised her head and smiled at her.
"So, Trixie. I heard that you are teaching at a university. Are you coming back to teaching?" Trixie was thankful that Julie decided to change the topic as well.
