Trixie was speechless. Not because of how Diana talked continuously without pausing but because of how thoughtful she was considering that they have not met before this. And did she just mention that they are afraid of Diana's husband? Why?
"Thank you," Was all she could say, and then she felt her pat her hand that was on her lap.
"You are probably wondering who the other guys are," Diana said, making Trixie nod her head because she really is wondering. She was glad of Diana's presence because it made her feel comfortable.
