J found out that Emily is on a month-long leave ever since she and Felix decided to start a family. While Felix has been leaving the headquarters every day and just returns the next morning just like Daniel. She didn't have to ask her but J already deduced that she and Felix were trying to start a family. She felt happy for them.
Hannah on the other hand chose to give up her career as a police officer which surprised J. According to Hannah, she and Daniel had thought about it for a couple of days probably ten times. They realized that the two of them both have a dangerous jobs and had a reality check. If anything happens to both of them, what would come of their daughter?
So they came to a mutual decision that one of them would give up their job. Daniel could've given up his job as J's security and just become a full pledge ethical computer hacker or a computer security expert or what they call a white-hat hacker.
